Tragic story about gun sales and two deaths resulting from somebody coming back after their first visit, as a FEMA contractor, with two other people to rob them and shoot them both to death for a gun collection ...from out of state.

"FEMA contractor returned to Florida but not for hurricane-related work. Instead, one man is dead, sheriff says"

Three Alabama men – a FEMA contractor and two friends – have been arrested in connection with a murder, assault and robbery in Polk City.

Gerjuan Demarcus Jackson, 18, Kenley Campbell, 22, and Darril Lamar Rankin Jr., 22, all of Mobile, Alabama, are facing first-degree murder and several other felony charges.

:rose: to the families of [FONT=&quot]William Reiss, and his housemate Kenneth Mair who has also passed as a victim of the robbery.

:rose: my heart breaks for the friends and families.

How they captured the three, reminds me of the case of Teresa Sievers case here on WS, where the perps traveled interstate to commit a crime (the MSM is leading me to believe that they caught them through license plate readers that are abundant in the state of Florida on the interstates?) It seems as if these days, perps are purposefully crossing jurisdictions to escape the law?

Assume they all will be extradited soon from Alabama to return to Florida. On other threads for other cases, there was discussion as to Florida death penalty. Is anyone in the know as to what the status is at this time?

"BARTOW — A Polk County grand jury indicted three Alabama men Thursday in the robbery and shooting deaths of two Polk City housemates earlier this month.....

Reiss died during the robbery after he was shot four times in the head and once in the hand with a .25-caliber semi-automatic handgun, deputies reported.

Deputies reported that Kenneth Maier said he heard the gunshots that killed his friend and he ran into the living room. There, he was shot four times in the head and once in the shoulder. He made it out the door, and passersby found him near the roadside and called for help.

Maier, 57, lived for nine days before dying of his gunshot wounds Jan. 12."
