Or (not trying to make this political) could the couple have had an unplanned pregnancy and traveled outside of Florida to terminate it? I suggest this only because I believe FL has some rather restrictive laws around reproductive healthcare and perhaps the couple wanted to have the procedure done in another location so as not to be seen by anyone of their friends/colleagues.
This is a possible explanation but they were last seen on Thursday and today is Wednesday.

Most people who live in Florida travel to N. Carolina or Virginia for abortions. North Carolina is a 9-10 hour drive. They've had time to drive up, have a procedure done, and be back.

Also, if thats what they did surely they would have at least checked their cell phones, see they have a ton of messages from LE and their friends and realize they need to let someone know they're ok.

If they left on their own for whatever reason they abandoned their classes voluntarily at least for a time which all who know them say is not like them at all.

I wish we knew if either of them have a car. Maybe that info's out there now but I haven't seen it. Hoping for a safe return for both 🙏

Do they have access to a vehicle, and if so is it known where that vehicle is now? If there is a vehicle and it is also missing, start checking nearby bodies of water.

I have been looking at every article I can find on them, and there’s no mention of a vehicle one way or another unfortunately. Maybe we’ll learn more.

“Bristy, a doctoral student studying chemical engineering, was last seen around 10 a.m. on the USF Tampa campus at the NES Building, police said.

Pranto said family last spoke with his sister on the day of her disappearance, according to NBC News. She left her laptop, iPad and lunch box at a university lab, he added.”

So did she leave her things because she expected to return? Did something very urgent happen that caused her to run out of the lab?

Lastly, this article reports Limon seemingly took his wallet, but left his passport in his apartment.

The part where she left her laptop, iPad and lunch box at a university lab really stood out to me, too. Sure seems like she expected to return shortly so what happened? Very strange.

Yes, you don't leave something in what's probably a shared "scholastic community" space (especially personal computer equipment) unless you plan on returning very soon

Sounds like she isn't missing voluntarily, IMO. Very concerning.

That thought crossed my mind, too

They were seen an hour apart. ZL earlier and NB later, according to witnesses.

So NB would have made it to the classroom lab, set her personal belongings aside, and began her work as if that was a normal day.

In the meantime ZL finds NB, convinced her to leave with him immediately, not providing her the opportunity to retrieve her belongings.

Kinda begs the question, where was he and what was he doing in that hours time difference? Did he receive info that made him believe he needed to protect her from someone or something? Did he have a nefarious motive to whisk her away?

Sure doesn’t seem like NB had an escape plan on her agenda for the day.

Here's something odd. LE has expanded the search to Pinellas County directly East of Hillborough but not to the counties north, south or west. Pinellas is on gulf.

Edit: Adding news story reporting the search has expanded to Pinellas
Maybe there’s footage of them crossing one of the bridges over?

Bristy’s brother stated that she was last seen at 12:30 p.m. "Tampa local time", and that her phone was switched off at 5:00 p.m. Is there any information regarding Limon’s phone activity?

ETA: got the gender wrong... It was Bristy’s brother, not her sister, as I previously stated.

I got my directions wrong in this post and it's too late to edit.

Pinellas County is directly WEST of Hillsborough County
They've NOT expanded at this time to the counties EAST, NORTH, or SOUTH

Sorry about that!!!

“The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said its forensic unit assisted in a search related to the missing students at Sand Key Park in Clearwater, according to 10 Tampa Bay News. A dive team from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office was seen conducting a search at the beach on Thursday, according to the outlet.”
