the morning NB went missing: "She had a class. She came out from the class and had to print something, and I printed to her, and she directly went to the class, and I went to my lab, so it looked normal," Hossain said.

Questions:
- Have phones been found for either student?
- If phones are off when and where did they go odd?
- Messy breakup?
- Were they living together?
- Were they both having typical days before they disappeared? Unusual days?
- Were they both in good standing with their university classes and bills when they disappeared?

Hoping they are found safe very soon! MOO 🙏

12:30 pm and 5:00 pm last Thursday April, 16th the day she disappeared?
That’s what he said in an April 21 post.

*I’ve edited my post after your reply, it was Bristy’s brother, not her sister.

Is this a friend who was quoted here? This description of the activity doesn't appear to align with someone expecting to leave.. But wonder what she printed? MOO

The part where she left her laptop, iPad and lunch box at a university lab really stood out to me, too. Sure seems like she expected to return shortly so what happened? Very strange.
I am also a usf doc student and your whole life/dissertation is on your computer. That’s so odd that she would leave it, even in an emergency tbh

“People on the beach said they saw a boat and several divers from the sheriff's office in the water starting at about 12:45 p.m. Beachgoers also reported seeing drones and a helicopter in the area.

…Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office were also seen taking a paper bag from the scene into a Crime Scene Investigation vehicle. ”

One would think there must be a reason for searching in this particular area. Cell phone ping? Witness? Camera footage? Text records? MOO

Well, there was nothing on this story on the local NBC station. It's draft day and I guess they couldn't fit in two students who have vanished. 🙄

Here is a report on the search at Sand Key that usf-student referenced above:

So, an immediate risk of harm?

Could one of them have been taken against their will or maybe both? Or did they leave on their own, perhaps leaving a note that raises concerns about possible self-harm? MOO JMO

I just hope they’re found safe!

That thought crossed my mind, too
This doesn’t seem to fit with leaving the laptop

She seems a little old to be promised for an arranged marriage, but was she anyway? Now that she and another man are studying overseas together, did that cause a problem?

Trying to make sense of this based on the little information we have.

I haven't seen any information saying she was promised to someone in Bangladesh. The fact that both of their siblings are publicly making statements about their relationship even if they are a little contradictory (they had or have a relationship) says to me this wasn't a secret. JMO though, really we don't have many facts to even a form an opinion. I'm worried about them and hope it turns out they're ok.

"Victim of a crime"... I wonder if they were both victims of a scam? Cyber crime? Digital evidence found? MOO
