That is lowdown. Many years ago I owned a florist. The custom here was, if your shop made the family flowers, you waited about a week until all the flowers at the cemetery had withered and died. Then you went back and cleaned off the grave. You threw away the dead flowers and got to keep the metal stands the floral sprays were on. Most of us rarely had to by those as they continually cycled through the various florists in town. But to steal the live flowers is a lowdown deed.
