Focusing Solely on Cindy's Inconsistencies

I thought I remembered Cindy talking about this in one of the interviews and it's here in her FBI Interview...Sorry about all of the run on sentences but, well "you know" it's Cindy, she doesn't take pauses or breaks.

FBI Interview w/ Cindy Anthony

part 2, http://www.wftv.com/video/18035442/index.html

CA, "The other red flag with the Sheriff's Dept. they told us right away, right that very first night after Casey was taken into custody and the next day they said that they could only find one Zenaida F. G. in this area, and they checked it out in Kissimmee. Well since then you know people have been pulling up records and people searches from all over and there's at least nine in Orlando and four or five in Ft. Lauderdale and New York. Casey said from the beginning that Zanny was from New York, she'd been, had a Ft. Lauderdale connection she had a Ft. Lauderdale phone number, at one time um there was New Jersey connections, there's New Jersey um people by the same name, so I'm just saying there are people out there just because they didn't find someone right now with this and Casey had told me over the last three years that Zanny had moved at least three differant times that I was aware of. Ok, I was actually the one that gave the police, um, the last known number, address incase I ever needed to go pick Caylee up, out of my address book and in his report, in Melich's report it says as a note the initial responding deputy's had found a hand written note with the address of 232 Glenwood in the defendant's car parked at my arrival. Well that's not true, they knew, they had an addess that Casey had provided them that was real close to that area when that didn't pan out I said wait a minute, I think I have an address, I went into my kitchen, pulled out my address book and pulled out that yellow sticky note that had the Glenwood Ave. address and walked it out and said I just got this out of my address book try this one. So you know, I mean just things like that, that's a misstatement right there. Bottom line is that 232 Glenwood Ave. that's the address of the person who I think is a part of all this."

Thanks for finding that! I went through old posts last night hoping to find something and got a headache!
So this really wasn't an inconsistancy from CA.But it still begs the question, why didn't she call or go look there during the month KC and Caylee were gone? Or maybe she did?

That's what I'm saying. Cindy thought Ricardo's (which is also Jp's house) house was Zani's. Remember the picture she had of Caylee sitting with the drums (from the video game rock star)? She asked Casey "was this at Zani's house?" and as Casey was deciding what to say about it Cindy said "And I KNOW who's house it is". So Casey told the truth, that it wasn't Zani's house but claimed Zani's house was "the same set up".

Cindy knew who lived at Glenwood ave (said so herself in discussing that picture!). This is just part of her trying to set up others, IMO

BBM. CA wonders why the FBI wasn't called in when it was "said to be a kidnapping"? Why would she phrase it that way? Why not just way, "why wasn't the FBI called in since this is a kidnapping?". Red flag to me. CA states it was "said" to be a kidnapping, not that it "is" a kidnapping.
imo
Cindy knew then, just like she knows now, there was NO kidnapping ..

If she showed up at the Glenwood Ave address looking for Casey, Caylee and/or Zani she'd have found the truth (or were her daughter really was) much sooner, perhaps even before Caylee was dead.
The whole month Casey was MIA, Cindy tried to get Lee to track her down, Cindy herself went to Universal only to be told by Casey, on the phone, that Caylee wasn't there. Cindy's My Space message mentioned nothing about a nanny, in fact I think she questioned where her daughter and Granddaughter were in that entry. "Who is taking care of the angel now", is what I believe she writes. All this time Cindy was worried out of her mind and Casey repeatedly told her they were with "Zanny". Cindy not once checked that address she had for Zanny on that yellow sticky note ? Cindy no more believed there was a nanny than she believed any of Casey's other lies...or she would have been to that address and any other she had been given. The nanny only became more real for Cindy on July 15th when she learned her Granddaughter was missing, had to have someone to pin it on. My opinion only.

That's what I'm saying. Cindy thought Ricardo's (which is also Jp's house) house was Zani's. Remember the picture she had of Caylee sitting with the drums (from the video game rock star)? I think Cindy only "knew" who lived at that address after she had been told by the police. So I think initially at least - when she gave the address to LE - she did believe that it may have been ZFG's house. I think she started to try to catch Casey in a lie to get info from her but then just couldn't follow through. That was a very telling moment to me re: the dynamic between Cindy and Casey. Cindy wants to believe Casey but also wants to know the truth - when those two desires come into conflict Cindy choses to believe Casey. Because the truth is unbearable for her.

I was doing some transcribing last night and continued on a bit into the FBI Interview, part 2, WFTV. Anyway, I thought it was so interesting to watch Cindy's body language when she was talking about her "theories" vs. when the FBI agent was talking about her seeing things more realistically, etc...Dramatic change. I included some of my observations, of her body language, during the small part of the interview I transcribed. Now there may be some typo, etc mistakes here so, please overlook that.

CA, In Melich's report it says as a note the initial responding deputy's had found a hand written note with the address of 232 Glenwood in the defendant's car parked at my arrival, well that's not true, they knew, they had an addess that Casey had provided them that was real close to that area when that didn't pan out I said wait a minute I think I have an address, I went into my kitchen, pulled out my address book and pulled out that yellow sticky note that had the Glenwood Ave. address and walked it out and said I just got this out of my address book try this one, so you know, I mean just things like that, that's a mis statement right there. Bottom line is that 232 Glenwood Ave. that's the address of the person who I think is all a part of all this.

LE, Is that an Apt. complex ?

CA, That's an Apt. complex. And um these people that I'm going to talk to you about currently live there. So again Casey didn't want to take them directly, if they knew that she had them right then and there or something, I don't know, I don't know all of Casey's reasoning, all I know is what I'm piecing together and I think could be some excellent leads to go on, cause it's making sense and if it doesn't pan out that's fine I just want to help in anyway. You guys may start thinking about when I start going into this, it makes a heck of a lot of sense.

LE, What I want to point out to you and (Cindy goes from looking straight at LE to having her head down in her hands at this point) I want you to remember this all the time because I 'm not going to mislead you or lie to you (Cindy drinking water) or make you feel good about anything (Cindy says I understand and is now shuffling papers on the desk) because that's not my job. What I do want you to understand and keep in the back of your mind all the time is that we have a young lady with a missing two year old child and she happens to be your daughter (Cindy head down says I understand). I understand that she's putting out to you that she's very fearful of her daughter's safety for some reason or another, at this point in time it has to be made clear to Casey that your daughter's safety may be in jeopardy but the only way for us to find her is for her to tell us (Cindy head still down, says I know) why she's concerned, not allude to (Cindy says I know, I know, looking through papers in notebook) and unfortunatly what's going to happen is that's going to come down to you or your husband and your son (Cindy thumbing through the papers in her notebook)

CA, We are trying, we are trying

LE, I know you are there is no doubt in my mind you are, because I know where you're coming from (Cindy finally looks back up at Investigator) I know what you're doing

CA, We're trying, we're really trying to get as much out of her as we can.

CA, (Looking more optimistic, head up, pulls a picture of Caylee (with the drums), on flyer, out of her notebook to hand to FBI Agent) A couple of months ago way before any of this happened I saw this photograph of Caylee, I said oh where was this taken to Casey, she said that's Zanny's apt, ok, (a full two to three second pause here) that's Zanny's apt. (Passes picture to the other LE officer)

LE, Do you need that ?

CA, You can have it, I can print another one off the website. That picture with the, I don't know if you're familar with the rock band, it hooks up to the nintendo or one of the things the kids can play. Caylee loves the drums, she's always loved the drums. In fact George and I have been kicking around when to get her drums, 3rd birthday, 4th birthday, 5th birthday, because the girl can keep a beat she's been able to keep a beat since she was two (Cindy now using her hands on the desk as if she was playing the drums) I mean with music, I mean she can keep a beat she loves to bang on the drums, and I asked her about that photograph a few months ago because I said who's apt is that, has Caylee been on the drums ?

part 2, http://www.wftv.com/video/18035442/index.html

Thanks for refreshing my memory about that interview. It just goes to show how thick as a brick and totally obnoxious Cindy is. She didn't even try to make it appear that she was giving the FBI agent her attention when he was speaking to her. When she had the floor, the words couldn't spill out of her mouth fast enough. She seemed to not want to stop for a breath for fear that the agent would ask her a question that she didn't want to answer or make a statement that she didn't want to hear. Cindy became increasing frantic during that interview as can be seen by her banging on the desk to show how Caylee played the drum. I thought she was going to get up and do a little dance for them next to show them how Caylee danced. She is so ridiculous. The agent went out of his way to be extremely nice to her in that interview. I can't wait for her redeposition; Morgan and Co. will surely pin her to the wall, again.

Thanks for posting this.

What struck me about your observations is how, when Cindy is confronted with something she does not want to hear, she avoids eye contact, makes a distraction (shuffling papers) and most importantly, talks over the LE officer saying "I know, I know" over and over. My thought to myself was that she is really saying to herself, "This guy doesn't know, I know." On the surface the "I know" seems like an acknowledgement of hearing (and agreeing with) what the officer is saying. But in Anthony reality these "I know, I know" statements are a way to drown out the unpleasant truth and reinforce their own opinions while at the same time appearing to be agreeable.

I've posted several times about how the A's respond to statements which contradict their false reality with a breezy "Oh I know" and then continue right on their merry way talking about whatever BS they were selling at the time. This is an "Anthonyism" that has been bugging my mind for awhile now & your post helped me to clarify my thoughts about it. Thanks!

Truer words were never spoken! And it's not going to work when they are on the stand. They will be told to answer direct questions. "Is this true or is this not true?" The only way they know to counter being cornered is to act out with the razzle dazzle. If you can't dazzel them with brilliance baffle them with BS. And the judge is going to shut them down in a hurry.

I think that was a lot of the reason for the attitude at the depos. They are so afraid of the truth and it is barrelling down on them. The days of turning an uncomfortable encounter with the truth into a media circus are rapidly coming to and end. It is amazing that it is a tool the whole family uses.

So I guess GA didn't see her at @2:30pm on the 24th?

ETA: So what does George know? (sorry, OT)

where does casey's cell phone ping at 2:30pm on the 24th???? does anybody have that handy???

thanks!!

Shw has always chosen to "believe" Casey. The death of her granddaughter is not the start of this. not Hardly! She "believed" Casey when she said she was a virgin @ 7 months pregnant too!

That's exactly the thought I had with her interviews, she talks so fast offering no breaks, so that LE doesn't have a chance to say anything, ask her questions, return comments. She knows what they are going to say, she knows or she would give them a chance to talk more. How she can talk for that long without a break, well it's just unbelievable. But then when you hear Lee talking to Tony, in the police wire tap operation, it's almost identical. I guess Tony was equally "impressed".

But in jail she shows Casey the pic and says "Who's house is this?" and as Casey hems and haws, Cindy says 'And I know who's house this is!" That's when Casey told her it wasn't Zanni's house. She didn't say it was Ricardo's house though, even from jail she couldn't be even that truthful to her mother!

I thought for sure she said, after pressed by Cindy, that the apt was Ricardo's. Maybe I am not remembering very well. I do remember Casey also said something like, yes that apt is set up very much like Zanny's. I might go back and re listen, that is... if I have it in me...Cindy knew she was lying and saved her from another lie by saying, I know whose apt this is...how cheap.
