Hursts 15 bean mix is what is available here. But I don’t use the artificial flavor packet that’s included with them.

In Sarasota County rentals must be at least 30 days. But in the City of Sarasota, you can rent for a minimum of 7 days. That was implemented to help with local housing here.^Our across-the-street neighbor and his lady friend are leaving tomorrow for two months in a rental home somewhere on the Gulf Coast. DH saw him at the mailbox and wished him a safe trip. He was waiting for a FedEx delivery of meds that he needs to take with him. They will travel tomorrow and Saturday with the house rental starting on Sunday, February 1.
pepper eaters- I happily eat red and green peppers but I do not like the yellow ones. Do they really taste different or do I have problem? (many times they sell an assortment but I don't like the yellow ones) guess I should blindfold myself to do a taste test.15-bean soup sounds wonderful! I've made it before but not recently. I'll keep it in mind for an upcoming meal.
I'm going to make stuffed peppers today. DH mentioned that he would like to have them, so he'll go to Nino's today after some other errands. I usually make six stuffed peppers in assorted colors and top with tomato sauce. The peppers fit perfectly in my square baking dish. It is still freezing cold here, so a comfort dish is welcome even if it is a little labor-intensive.
In this week's Rewards email from Nino Salvaggio's, standing rib roasts are featured for $12.99 per pound (regular price is currently $15.99). This is really a very good price: During the holidays, the regular price was $19.99 a pound, with holiday sale price of $15.99. DH plans to get a Prime Rib roast that we'll put in the freezer for Valentine's Day. We don't go out to dinner on Valentine's Day because most nice restaurants tend to be very busy with quick table turnaround and less-than-stellar service.
Have heard yellows are like the "in between" on the green and red. I can taste the sweet when I have red for sure. The green, I mean I guess it's kinda peppery like arugula (but way milder than arugula, jmo). When I look this up on the "peppery," though, they're saying no, not "peppery," it's like a little "bitter." I actually always try and get a yellow because it's versatile and I know I can use it in anything, will probably use all of it, and none of it will go to waste.pepper eaters- I happily eat red and green peppers but I do not like the yellow ones. My favorite are red bell peppers. The different colors do have different tastes. When I make chili I usually use one each red, yellow, and orange.pepper eaters- I happily eat red and green peppers but I do not like the yellow ones. I'm not sure, but I think they rent a house for two months in the Fort Myers area. Two years ago, neighbor was complaining that the landlord was raising the price to $5K per month which he thought was too much. They had stayed in the same house for several years in a row, but I don't know if they returned to the same rental last year or now. Our next-door neighbors have a condo in Sarasota. They stay from early October through Christmas, come home for the holidays, then return to FL until early May.In Sarasota County rentals must be at least 30 days. I could literally charge double my mortgage for my place and people would snap it up. It would be even more expensive if I could do a weekly rental. It’s crazy what people will pay.
I wonder where they’re going to be renting because it’s quite pricey on the Gulf coast of FL.
My stuffed peppers (red, yellow, orange) turned out well, but I forgot to salt the inside of the peppers, and the meat/rice/veggie filling needed a bit more salt. DH thought they were wonderful, so I guess that's all that matters.pepper eaters- I happily eat red and green peppers but I do not like the yellow ones.
