I'm going to try making omelettes in the waffle maker in the morning. Has anyone else made them that way?

I’ve made hash browns in the waffle maker but never tried omelettes. I always thought it would be more difficult to clean egg from a waffle maker than a skillet.

I've never owned a waffle maker, so I haven't made omelets in one. I have made omelets-in-a-bag but haven't done this for quite a while. It's a fun cooking project for kids as long as the actual cooking part is supervised due to a pot of boiling water. Assorted meats, cheeses, veggies can be offered so each child can select their own ingredients. Adults like omelets-in-a-bag, too

DH can now have "regular" food following his tooth extraction, so we are having orange roughy and kale sauteed with bacon for dinner.

People who have so many issues with foods that they cannot eat for one reason or another shouldn't go to restaurants. Most dining venues try to accommodate all patrons, but they cannot please everyone. Restaurant menus are posted on their websites, so prospective diners should research the dining venue in advance so they have a good idea of what is offered and what they might be able to eat. A litany of what one can't eat for one reason or another is also annoying for other restaurant patrons. JMO

100% agree and considering I have 27 food allergies, it irritates me to no end when diners are rude to their servers. If you have that much trouble, just stay home.

Everyone knows not to bother inviting me if it is an Asian themed food restaurant and I'm not the least bit offended.

JK texted me before our dinner the other night asking if I had reviewed the menu in advance. I was so pleased that I'd have so many options.
