Yes it was free for Kindle only. That's what "e-Book" means.
However, if anyone who posted on this thread would like a hard copy, I have a few left, and I can send them out to you.

I was trying to get the e-book. But it was only free with the subscription service Kindle Unlimited. I don't subscribe to that; I prefer to just purchase e-books now and then.
