What really hit me when reading the ORNL report was that Early Decomposition showed that the item decomposing was deprived of oxygen. And where it said that the air samples equated to 2.6 days of decomposition.

I have to go back and read it again, but I cant believe KC is in jail based on this. I read a whole lot of preliminary, more tests, could be, etc....
At one point it says trace amounts of Chloroform then later toward the end it says significant, that seems contradictory to me.
Anyone else reading what I am, again, I am going to read it again....

I thought the results were from 2 seperate tests. ???

It really is kind of amazing that all they found was 1 hair in a trunk.

I honestly didn't think that this was premediated, up until now that it is...for there to be so little physical evidence suggests something more sinister to me, either she had some pretty heavy duty help or she planned this for way too long (except of course where to dump her, she didn't plan that very well considering how long it took her to do it) and whatever she placed Caylee's body in was good and strong.

Despite the small amount of evidence found, it is still damning and it is going to put this girl away for life. If she has a story to tell that could help her not spend the rest of her life in prison she had best get to it otherwise things are only going to get worse for her everyday.

Sinister is right.:furious:

Nope, she isn't in jail based SOLELY on this.
  • Her daughter went missing for 31 days and didn't report her missing.
  • She was parting during this period and didn't behave like other mothers would have under similar situations.
  • She lied to detectives about (almost) everything
  • The dogs flagged on a decomposing body in the backyard and the truck of the car
  • Her family and everyone else thought that the smell was of a dead body
  • The shovel
  • This evidence
  • Her behavior
  • She was driving the car and stealing money from everyone during this period

She is in jail because of ALL of this and more. This only shows that she went to great lengths and planning to cover up what actually happened.

I do not think that she should be walking the streets with this evidence.

IMO

 Hey Miracles! :blowkiss: So, any opinions of your change with this FBI testing results release? Not for me... :gavel: :gavel: :gavel: for Casey

Good question Chez...wannah start a thread??? You could ya know.:blowkiss:

Naw my feelings are not changed by this release. I do not take anything in there as remotely showing Casey's innocence. Furthermore, it's just a teaser in my humble opinion. There is soooo much we don't have.

Missing child/Dancing Mother/Human Decomp/Common Sense

I guess everyone interprets things differently, but to me the report is pretty damaging. There is evidence of decomp in the trunk and a hair that shows decomp that is either Casey or Caylee hair, Casey is still with us.

Also if it wasnt damaging why would the defense be trying to get all the car forensics thrown out?

The defence will try to get all evidence thrown out. They wouldn't be doing their jobs if they didn't try.

Check out the 1st page of the report. Jose rec'd this report on Monday.

* The root of the hair showed signs of decomposition. A comparison to hair taken from Caylee's brush and DNA taken from Anthony showed that neither the mother nor the daughter could be excluded as the source of the hair.

Well, we know that Casey is not decomposing, at least externally, so....

If what is shown is the bulk of the results, then I would say that while it is clear that Caylee is dead, I do not think the rest of the evidence in terms of the chloroform is as compelling as NG seemed to believe. Circumstantially of course, but not definitively.

They were looking at diferent samples. I think the hair showed trace amounts of Chloroform, which would be normal for decomposition. The carpet and air showed significant.

As far as the "Low oxygen environment decomposition". I tend to always follow the simplest path. The body was in a big plastic trash bag (much like LP hypothesized awile back).

There's so much more evidence that they haven't released. Remember, it only took the GJ 30 minutes!!
Also, these are prelim results. We've known about these, but now we have the proof on paper. If they released results as damaging as these, just think of what they haven't released. I cannot wait for the trial!

What are the grounds for having the car search/forensics thrown out? George gave written consent and the car was his.

And that's why he's already working on getting the evidence thrown out and interviewing people that had access to the car.

Once someone stops breathing, isn't that what happens - every organ in the body is deprived of oxygen?

Dr Baden is on Fox now - says they would "know who the father is, but that isn't being released".

Dr Baden was struck by the chloroform found in the air samples - could be cause of death.

Bolded by me. That's what I think too.

goes to show there's a VERY VERY good chance those gas cans were in there when decomp was in there. Well George watcha gonna say now huh?????

BINGO.

Well said, I have said that from day one- You KNOW I just left messages for LP and RD harassing them- it has been our issue of contention...
Not being glib, but I never bought GA story, especially on Greta.

Check the dates, the DAY AFTER he and CA met with the Feds, in an interview with OCSO they were seperated, and George took them to the house to get the gas cans.. Why do 3 people jockey for position on 6/24?

I just read on another forum that Dr. Baden will be explaining the results of these tests on Fox later on. I don't get to see this but for those who do, it should be interesting!

Please do go back and read it again. On page 24 of the .pdf - last paragraph, it reads

Every element known to be associated with decomposition was elevated over control values.

You do that.
I am seeing clear evidence of Caylee's little body being defiled and desecrated in the trunk of Casey's car.
Casey is not in jail for 1st degree murder based on any one piece of evidence, although the results here are highly indicative of a savage, depraved series of events having taken place, IMO.

Just doesnt make sense to me, if the report was in Caseys favor, they would want to be all over it and say see the forensics dont show Caylee was in the trunk.

The defence will try to get all evidence thrown out. They wouldn't be doing their jobs if they didn't try.
