I felt bad for his parents. They shouldn't blame themselves. Mental illness can be a secretive thing in a family and people often don't feel comfortable speaking about it. If they'd had any idea he was going to commit such a heinous crime they would have stopped him.

I try not to be mean about parents unless they pizz me off for some reason (i.e., the Anthonys)---most would do whatever they can to avoid a situation such as this---I'm sure they never fathomed their son could do this---

Will the shooter have to stand for the entire sentencing? It might take some time. And we all know King struggles to stand for long periods!
