I don't really get why this lawyer is on the case. After looking at his website, types of cases he has fought and won, he looks like he has been on the "good guys side". Why tarnish his reputation ?
I would not underestimate TM's ability in a courtroom. He is a compelling force before a jury. Out of all the attorney's on KC's team he is THE formidable opponent. JMHO.
The defense strategy will knock us off our couches? How so? As in how convincing it will be or how ridiculous it will be?
Knock me off of the couch? Are you kidding me? I've gained 15 pounds since this case started..hope he has some extra exciting to move me an inch...
bring it on..
:bang:
Regarding the duct tape being washed over onto Caylee's mouth and utimately sticking to her hair. I don't buy it. If the duct tape somehow became unattached from some other source due to water or climate conditions, how in the world would it regain it's ability to stick to something else (Caylee's skull and hair)? If I were sitting on a jury and heard this hogwash, I'd literally have to contain my laughter at the defense's attempt to get me to believe this nonsense.
Wow another bond hearing, this is going to be interesting. I feel doc dump coming soon8 lawyers for Casey Anthony.
The new lawyer TM, says she shouldn't be sitting in jail right now and he wouldn't be part of the case if he thought she was guilty.
He goes on to say that all the evidence is junk science and there is explanations for everything.
He goes on to say Wait til trial.
He is on his way back to San Diego but will be back soon to ask for another bond hearing.
The defense team finally picked up the jailhouse video of Casey's reaction to the news her childs remains were found.
What a piece of work.
this was an interview that opened up local6 news tonight at 11 with reporter Adam Longo
www.clickorlando.com is the website. Don't know if it's up yet.
But, she's right, an accident doesn't explain the duct tape gag OR Casey's Blockbuster video.
That evidence is damaging and would be compelling to anyone on the jury.
Is this guy serious? There is absolutely NO explanation for all her happiness and partying from 6/16-7/15. I can't believe such high profile attorneys are willing to put their reputation on the line saying they believe this girl is innocent...also, notice how they keep saying "wait until trial." If they had a solid, provable explination for her innocence they would be screaming it from the hilltops.
We have handled many class action lawsuits that involve products, including dangerous over the counter medications and herbal products, such as ephedrine based diet pills. We have and currently are involved in mass disaster litigation such as the San Diego wildfires that caused harm and loss of property to homeowners in the San Diego area in October of 2006.
Our firm led the nation in commencing class action lawsuits involving dangerous diet pills such as Metabolife 356, Cytodyne RFA-1 and others. Our firm represented hundreds of individuals who were injured as a result of the manufacture of such pills using ephedrine, a previously unregulated stimulant that was used in the manufacturing process. As a result of the litigation and going to trial on a class action, ephedrine has been banned in the United States.
Hi all... First post here at Websleuths. I have been following the Caylee Anthony case from the beginning. Hope I can contribute some meaningful views and opinions...
This may be a moot point, but this guy gives himself a little to much credit. Ephedrine has not been banned in the United States. It has become regulated but not banned. You can purchase ephedrine tablets in most convienience stores in the state of Florida simply by showing ID. Same with medication sold from a pharmacy. To me, he seems more like an ambulance chaser. Thanks for the great site.
Welcome!
My guess is they are going to paint her as bi-polar and claim this illness made her manic and as such she had no control over her actions.

WKMG-Channel 6 will offer an exclusive interview with Todd Macaluso, Casey Anthony's new attorney, at 11 tonight.
"From a total investigation of this case, I've concluded she's innocent," Macaluso tells reporter Adam Longo. "I've concluded that she is innocent," Macaluso repeats.
Macaluso describes himself as an expert on technical matters and also tells Longo: "The prosecution has no evidence in this case. The only evidence in this case that is called evidence is information that's been leaked out to the public by sources close to the investigation, by sources involved in the investigation. And there's been a lot of misinformation."
Anchor Jacqueline London called Macaluso "this California power attorney" and hinted that some of the defense team's strategy "between now and the trial just might knock you off your couch."
