Former FBI Agent Reveals True Identity Of "Todd Black"

  • #401
From WESH:

In a newly released statement, Black's company said:

"Todd Black is a security name which has been used in rotation by three different staff members on this case. Whether Mr. Cabot also participated in that rotation makes no difference whatsoever."

Would be nice to know why they think they need a security name to share. Especially the soap-opera-esque "Todd Black".
The radio person (Rozzie) stated she only spoke to one T. Black daily and it was the same person each time. The difference it makes is that one of their "T. Black" personalities is going around signing sworn statements and providing them to the legal authorities. LOL Now I am not a lawyer, but I would think this is a problem! For them to "use" an alias isn't illegal, but to sign legal binding documents under an alias is a bit sketchy.

Are there really sworn statements given to legal authorities, signed by Black? I've only been reading about press releases. If so, then JB was using Black in a role beyond spokesman/PR.

Remember the analogy that George was giving Casey in the video call in jail about her being the CEO of the company? I believe this was his way of telling her that she could fire JB and crew. He was doing all he could to explain that they didn't run the show, but she did. George couldn't come right out and tell her to get rid of these parasites. This is one time I will take George's side.

The one thing that confuses me is if George doesn't like JB and crew, why is he allowing people that work for JB to then work for them like DC?

That's an interesting thought. I noticed he just wouldn't let the "you're in charge" idea drop. But he was a little too cryptic. If he didn't want to come right out and say "lose Baez, get better counsel", he could have said "are you sure you're getting the best counsel? Mom and I are trying to find you someone with a little more experience".

They let Lee do that one. ;) George and Cindy have to make Casey think it is HER idea, imo. Lee took a more direct approach with her.

SS, I am a Notary in the State of Louisiana. I require picture ID to be shown when I notorize a paper. Our Louisiana Driver's License has our signature along with the picture. For those who do not drive, Louisiana has a personal ID that you can acquire at the DMV that has a picture and a signature also. I will not notorize anything without proper ID. Also, the person wanting a document notorized must bring two witnesses who attest to knowing this person with them. Two witnesses have to sign the document.

Also, I do not read the document I am notorizing for content. I only notorize the signing of the document. IF that person is using an alias with the proper identification and I have no way of knowing this, then I have no liability in notorizing the document. People who want to acquire a driver's license with an alias can always use a stolen identity to do so. As a driver's license is a state issued proper identification, I accept it in good faith that this is the person signing the document.

I don't have time to find it right now, but I believe somewhere there is one that said T. Black signed a letter to the Bar or someone else which was a "sworn statement". If I am mistaken, I will apologize and take my lumps. LOL

When a client calls and asks to speak to Todd Black I guess they just ask them which one they'd like to speak to???

Yes, this would protect the notary...but it would mean he got a drivers license under an alias or used other false identification and would still fall back on him personally. Correct?

LOL! I just cannot imagine who else would have this company as a spokesperson or media consultant! I would LOVE to see a client list!

I hate this word, but it ABSOLUTELY would! And, of course, that would be yet another crime!

Easy enough! Just go to the mug shot page of TMZ. LOL

Does anyone else find it odd that the term "families" is being used? TX/CT families? Are there two such families out there that would support this type of case given the fact that it involves charges against a mother for murdering their child. Why would a "family" be referenced? Why not just say someone in CT is paying. When you say family I have visions of everyone, including the children pooling their money together to support this effort. Or is it that they feel it can be kept off limits because it is a family opposed to say a banker or movie producer. I live in Connecticut and I think most families here would stay away from this type of case because of the fact that their identify would be exposed. Unless it is another type of family....squirrels perhaps????

I think if they strip JB of the case for one reason or another (legal issues), they should appoint Casey the Public Defender she should have been given in the first place! She has no money. To allow strangers to swoop in and pay for her defense is not being done as an "act of kindness", imo.

This circus has already launched and
it isn't returning to earth. We might as
well accept it. LOL!!! imo

Bingo, that's the very reason they say "family" (positive connotation). The fact that you have a vision of kiddos pooling their money is a plus, even more that they could have hoped for.:)

I googled it, and I came up with an article that says T. Black issued a sworn statement to the Bar before the Bar dropped a complaint against Baez. Because Black didn't use his real name (Cabot?) on that statement, the bar didn't know he had been convicted of a felony in the past, and they may have taken that into consideration before deciding on Baez.

Ya know this Chinaris chap has an interesting past. I find it strange that he has a PO BOX as his address too. It is interesting that I cannot find a picture of this guy. Can anyone help?
Also wouldn't Baez's lawyer make a point of meeting "Todd" before filing all this, or am I just :bang:

The statement, which is not sworn to by it's author, is signed by Peter Tillman, who also appears to be a creation of this dude's imagination.

I feel pretty comfortable at least Chinaris did not know he was a fraud, therefore, if Baez or Chinaris is called on submitting that as part of a sworn response, I would say old Giltodpete should be wee bit nervous for once.
