Forum Operations Questions?

Hi All,

Two questions relating to the forum:

1.) I was looking to reply to a topic and a message came up to "Enter my email address." Not sure what I hit. Why would I need my email address to reply to a topic?

2.) What happened to the Board Hardware and Software part of the forum?
