Just think though, if George is talking to a friend or relative and that person contacted LE, what else could George be saying that is passed along to LE? I think this info lets us know that people are talking and may be passing on more info to LE than we know.

Well, he could have mentioned it to one of the attorneys (Biaz) and he called. You need to have a license to have possession of a gun. So it would make sense to have LE remove it.
