Fox reporting....ufo....nasa can't identify

Did they infer that the astronauts are traumatized and worried about this, even though they know it is just a tool or attachment that got loose?

Gee, this is real flotsum, Floh.

I can't raise my eyebrows at such which could be life threatening, Scandi. i'm seriously scared for these people.

but maybe i should stop with this forum about this subject as it isn't seemingly being cared about.

Well I agree with you Floh, as I just turned it on CNN and there was nothing said about what it is, and it was just said they don't know what it is. They have a spot coming up about it soon.

I wonder why they only saw one thing at first and then a second one appeared? I'm wondering if that door is open a little bit, or wasn't closed all the way.

Sorry Floh, I didn't mean to make light of the situation with the astronauts. It was just that anomonopia got the best of me!

They just said on CNN they are in a meeting right now to assess the situation as to what these objects are, where they came from and what the dangers with them might be.

It's not serious until they figure out what's going on - more likely than not, it's nothing at all, which is why I joke about it. NASA is taking all precautions, and the astronauts are in no danger at all right now from this - they're just going to stay up there a little while while they make sure it really is nothing harmful - no big deal. And if it is something, then there are some alternatives that NASA can use, from repairing it, to sending up another shuttle to rescue them, to who knows what. The last shuttle, they didn't think there was anything wrong, that's why they let it come down.

I'd say, let's laugh while we can - no reason to sing the dirge until someone is dead.
Had a bunch of fun with my boss, with that great headline. The UFO in orbit around earth bit is great, and NASA confirming it and tracking it really makes the impression perfect. It'd be fun if it were two little spaceships - there was a fun short story once about the arrival of aliens on earth - the landing field is ready, dignitaries waiting, communications established.... but we can't find them when they say they've landed! Turns out we never established scale, their whole spaceship is just too small for us to see.

So one no-see-um arrived via space ship which we couldn't see and developed into the massive amount of no-see-ums that bite us every year here in Florida. We got invaded and never saw it coming.:liar:

Floh, I understand that this is serious. I don't know why they keep sending up these shuttles, they are long past their prime. We don't need another accident. I am praying these people can get home safely and that NASA won't take any chances. Bless you for caring so much.

I'm less worried at this hour because it appears NASA aren't worried - merely finding it curious. although no doubt we have yet to learn the full story.

main thing being those people come down to earth safe, eventually.

i really am not thinking 'extraterrestrial' UFO, but i would like to know what on earth (did i really say 'on earth? :blushing: ) is going on up there.

found this on youtube, but of course it could be a hoax film:

Floh, of course we care about this but NASA doesn't seem all that worried and I always believe "Don't panic till there is something to panic about". I am so not saying that you have no right to be worried, God bless your loving heart, I for one can just hold out hope and pray for these people. No worries, they will be fine. NASA isn't going to bring them home if they won't be. :blowkiss:

Put it down to being up far later than i should have been last night and being testy. i apologise for my shortness and know this is the last forum to have members who didn't care about the safety of astronauts. for me ---> :slap:

i'm known as the 'worry wort' in my family. i do all the worrying for the lot of us: even if there's nothing to worry about, you can bet i'll be plagued by it. :banghead:
