Certainly not me @Seni. I don't think her story is in any way entertainment.
I don't like the idea of what happened to Madame Pelicot being made into entertainment.
HorribleCan someone help me with a list of all of his alleged crimes? This is one of the worst cases I've ever seen.
EmeticThere honestly isn't a lot that can make me feel sick but this does.
Words are not easyOH
MY
GAWD!
I don't even know what to say on this one!
PervertThis is devastating. I can't imagine having to process the fact that the man you've known as your father for so long is a monster.
I so hope that mother and daughter can mend fences. They have both been betrayed by their husband and father. I can understand why Caroline expected Giselle to reciprocate the support Caroline gave her. And I can understand why Giselle isn’t ready to wrap her mind and feelings around her husband potentially drugging and raping his daughter. It’s a tragedy worthy of Shakespeare with no easy answers. I hope healing, love and compassion will prevail for both of them so that they won’t give Dominique the satisfaction of knowing he’s caused more destruction.
Along those same lines, daughters often feel extra close to their fathers as they are treated as a princess and the “apple of the eye”.
I hope that both mother and daughter realize with time that allowing him to come between them is another horrible thing to allow him to do! I can see both sides of this and hope that someone can help them mend their broken fence and love each other again. Neither of them are to blame for what happened. Neither of them knew how to react to the spotlight. Neither of them knew how to process the grief of losing him along with the grief and horror of understanding what he did.
This is one instance where the mother didn’t turn a blind eye to the abuse as it was happening. But, comforting her child is something she may need to learn how to do through her own trauma.
Complete speculation, imo.
Wondering if there is another layer to the rift between mother and daughter, one neither dare to acknowledge or question?
Delicately and respectfully as possible - if it is true that DP also assaulted CD, would that suggest it might be prudent for all members of the family, to have DNA tested?
