Nordahl Lelandais was stationed in Suippes (Marne), in the 132nd Army Dog Battalion, between 2002 and 2007.

The ex-military is "noticed" in October 2008, with two accomplices, engaging in a battle of eggs and fruits in a supermarket, by burning tricolor flags, and a restaurant in Paladru (Isère). He will be sentenced to one year in prison. (October 2009 ?)

At the end of April 2009, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, 12 of which were closed for burglary and burning a year earlier, along with others, a restaurant on Lake Paladru in northern Isère. He was released on parole in October 2010.
Wondering "what" day he was released, as Adrien was killed; was he anxious to kill again on the 6th?

Estelle Mouzin, 9, disappeared on 9 January 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), around 6 pm between her house and her school. Nordahl Lelandais was 19 years old, he was at the military camp of Suippes (Marne), 150 kilometers away but was sent on a mission to the East at the time of the disappearance. In the Estelle Mouzin case, it was enough for the investigators to question the army to learn that he was on a mission in Guyana at the time of the girl's disappearance in 2003 in Seine-et-Marne. File is closed.

Nicolas Suppo, 30 years old, disappeared on 15 September 2010 near Echirolles. He disappeared during his lunch break. His coworkers saw him at work in the morning. Probably not a suspect; same region as NL; preliminary investigation.

Adrien Fiorello, a 22-year-old student who disappeared on 6 October 2010 in Firminy (Loire). The young man's cell phone was located in Chambéry (Savoie) in the late afternoon. Chambéry where Nordahl Lelandais had a dog breeding business at that time. Possible suspect in this one; request for information

Nelly Balmain was 29 when she leaves the family home of Saint-Jean-en-Royans (Drôme) on a scooter, without reappearing. She disappears on 8 August 2011. Verification in progress

Jean-Christophe Morin, 23, disappeared on 9-10 September 2011 during an electro party at Tamié Fort in Albertville (Savoie). Possible suspect; verification in progress

Kévin Fauvel, 27, on the night of 1-2 April 2012, left the community of Jansiac, located in Châteauneuf-Miravail, in the Jabron Valley. Since then, his family has no news.

Malik Boutvillain, 32, disappeared on 6 May 2012 in Echirolles (Isère). He was out jogging. Probably not a suspect; same region as NL; preliminary investigation.

Hugo Raffi, 28 years old missing from Albertville since 15 June 2012.

Ahmed Hamadou, 45, disappeared in 7 - 8 September 2012 at Fort Tamié (Savoie). Possible suspect; verification in progress

Lucie Roux, 43, disappears on 16 September 2012 while residing in the psychiatric centre in Bassens in Chambéry (Savoie).

Stéphane Chemin, 33 years old, who suffers from schizophrenia, disappeared on 24 September 2012 in Bourg-d' Oisans region (Isère). Probably not a suspect; same region as NL; preliminary investigation.

Florent Bonnet, 37 years old, who disappeared on 18 January 2014 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (Savoie). He was on a motorcycle and his two-wheeler was found near the Siaix tunnel, with a helmet on it. Probably not a victim of NL.

Eve Monteil, 49 years old, on 25 August 2014, in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain).

Lucas Tronche, then 15 years old, had disappeared on 18 March 2015, at 5:15p. m., when he was on his way to a bus stop in the commune of Bagnols-sur-Cèze. Possible suspect; verification in progress

Nordine Seghiri, 49, disappeared on 10 July 2015 from a hospital in Chambéry (Savoie).

Anne-Charlotte Poncin, 30 years old, disappeared on 5 January 2016 in Ambérieu-en-Bugey (Ain). In the morning, she leaves her home to go downtown for work.

Antoine Zoia. This 16-year-old teenager has not been found since 1 March 2016. He disappeared in Clarensac, near Nîmes, also in the Gard, during a stroll during which he had to go to a tobacco store. Verification in progress

Ilhan Sahingoz, 39 years old missing from Albertville since 11 April 2016.

Olivier Charpe, 59, never returned from a mountain bike ride on 12 August 2016 in Saint-Romans (Isère).

Georgette Amat Chantoux (Georgette Bonnet), 79 years old, residing in Lumbin. She was reported missing in October 2016, but her phone had not been active since 9 September 2016. Georgette lived alone and had little contact with her family. According to the neighbors, she used go to the mountains to pick blueberries (not mushrooms) in the Belledonne Massif. Het car was found there, in a parking lot. It had been there for weeks. "In the Bonnet case, the only reason for the reopening of the investigation is the geographical proximity (a distance of about 15 kilometers) between the area of [her] disappearance and the places of discovery of Arthur Noyer's bones, in Montmélian, of which Nordahl Lelandais is suspected of murder." Probably not suspect; same region as NL; preliminary investigation.

Éric Foray, 47, disappeared on 16 September 2016, shortly after noon, after he had recently done some shopping in Chatuzange-le-Goubet (Drôme).

Arthur Noyer, 23 years old, disappeared in 11-12 April 2017 in Chambéry. Indicted for this murder.

Adrien Mourialmé, 24 years old, disappeared in 5 July 2017 on the shores of Lake Annecy (Haute-Savoie); his phone pinged for the last time late in the afternoon in the centre of Chambéry - where NL lived at that time. Possible suspect; verification in progress

Maëlys De Araujo, 9 years old, disappeared at Pont-de-Beauvoisin in 27 August 2017. Indicted for this murder

More details about the disappearance of Éric Foray:

http://www.lepoint.fr/societe/norda...n-quete-de-reponses-01-02-2018-2191501_23.php

For Régis Pic, still shocked by the disappearance in the Drôme of his companion Éric Foray, who has been missing since 16 September 2016, it is a question of getting the investigation moving. Not much is happening," he regrets, while he mentions Eric Foray's activity as a wine merchant. "Lelandais also worked in the region as a wine merchant, maybe there's a connection?" he wonders. "All leads are good to follow because not knowing is the worst thing," he says with a sob. He says he feels, like all the other families present,"that he was abandoned by the police." "We were told that he is an adult, that he has the right to leave, that he will come back. We all got the same rhetoric. If we want to know something, we have to find out for ourselves. I'm the one who went to see the video cameras from supermarkets, the bakery, etc."

BBM

What a horrible situation! So many clues that may have gone lost, CCTV images that were deleted, possible witnesses who meanwhile have forgotten...

Something I had missed till now:
Did Nordahl Lelandais also work as a wine merchant?? When was that?

By coming together, these eleven families aim to put pressure on the special investigation cell opened on Nordahl Lelandais' past. "Our aim is to request a reorientation of the investigations in order to check whether there could be a link with Lelandais in each case." Bernard Valézy, president of the association Assistance et recherche de personnes disparues, initiator of the meeting, summed up. And for discontinued cases, this is to help families contact the prosecutor's office and ask for their case to be reopened."

In Grenoble, prosecutor Jean-Yves Coquillat has already reopened four investigations into mysterious disappearances in Isère. Others follow in Chambéry, Valence, Saint-Étienne... But in Rhône-Alpes, there are a total of about thirty files that could be the subject of new checks, Bernard Valézy estimates.

Thirty files and counting yet to come, Niner........ :doorhide:

NORDAHL LELANDAIS HAS APPEARED BEFORE THE INVESTIGATING JUDGES

Europe1
http://www.europe1.fr/societe/savoi...-pour-la-disparition-du-caporal-noyer-3565508

For the first time since his indictment for the assassination of Corporal Noyer, the main suspect, Nordahl Lelandais is heard by the judges on Monday.

Nordahl Lelandais, indicted for the disappearances of Maëlys and Corporal Arthur Noyer, was heard on Monday by the investigating magistrates of Chambéry on the death of the young soldier, said a judicial source.

This interrogation is "within the normal framework" of the investigation, said the same source, confirming information from the Dauphiné Libéré. Nordahl Lelandais' lawyer, Alain Jakubowicz, could not be reached immediately. On the side of the civil prosecution, counsel for Corporal Noyer's parents, Mr. Bernard Boulloud felt that this hearing did not "seem abnormal to him". "The investigation is progressing," he said.

This is the first time that the former army dog handler, who will soon be 35 years old, has been heard since his indictment on 20 December for the murder of Arthur Noyer. The 23-year-old corporal from the 13th Battalion of Alpine Hunters (BCA) had disappeared on the night of 11-12 April 2017 after an evening in downtown Chambéry, a few kilometres from his Barby barracks.

In this case, a connection was made, in particular through telephone pings between the suspect and the missing soldier. The two phones of the first one "had triggered the same towers between 11:48 p. m. and 3:41 a. m." as that of Corporal Noyer, who seems to have been in an unidentified vehicle, said Chambéry prosecutor Thierry Dran in December.

Remains of the young corporal's skull had been found on September 7 by a hiker on a footpath near Montmélian, 16 kilometres from Chambéry. Near this area, other bones, which were tested for DNA, were found on January 12.

Nordahl Lelandais is also indicted for the murder, which he vehemently denied from the beginning, of Maëlys, who disappeared at the end of August during a wedding party in Pont-de-Bonvoisin (Isère).

NORDAHL LELANDAIS: THE TRAIL OF HOMOSEXUAL ENCOUNTERS REVIVES THE INVESTIGATION INTO THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ADRIEN FIORELLO

France Soir
http://www.francesoir.fr/societe-fa...lance-enquete-maelys-arthur-noyer-disparition

Since his indictment for the murder of Arthur Noyer after that of Maëlys de Araujo, Nordahl Lelandais appears a potential serial killer. More than a dozen families of missing persons whose cases have not been solved, have asked for this to be investigated.

This is notably the case of Adrien Fiorello's family, who disappeared on October 6, 2010 in the Chambéry region where Nordahl Lelandais had a dog kennel. And this geographical proximity is no longer the only element that appeals to the relatives of the disappeared person. Indeed, a private investigator they hired concluded that he would have gone to a gay bar and nightclub that evening in October.

An element that has taken on new meaning since the investigators discovered that Nordahl Lelandais has been surfing on homosexual dating sites. A witness also said that he had been approached by him, also in Chambéry. When he refused, the ex-military even followed him by car after he left the discotheque to a motorway. There, Nordahl would have insisted again.

Investigators would therefore consider the possibility that the 34-year-old ex-military officer might have had meetings in this way and would therefore study possible links with unsolved disappearances.

This testimony is also relevant in the circumstances of Arthur Noyer's disappearance. The corporal also came out of a nightclub, obviously drunk, and walked through the streets of Chambéry on the night of his disappearance, according to surveillance cameras. He would then have gotten into a vehicle that the police officers suspect to be the one of Nordahl Lelandais, as indicated by the telephone pings.

BBM

At the time of the disappearance of Maëlys, a sweet girl in a white dress, Nordahl Lelandais was suspected to be a pedophile. Somehow, in the perception of the press, he has moved on.

No traces of homosexual interest were apparently found on Adrien Fiorello's computer. His mother said he never told them, or gave an indication. She was, however, adamant that he never went out during the week, only in the weekends.

Here's part of an article written in 2013, three years after Adrien Fiorello vanished:

"The analysis of his PC revealed to them a hidden face of Adrien [...] He flew over, with Google Earth, Montreux and Geneva. He loved the group Queen. A detective, hired by M6 and France 2, speculated that the young man, perhaps homosexual, had left for fear of their (his parents') reaction. In 2011, the investigator said he found witnesses in the gay community, in Chambéry and Geneva. Marie-France, convinced that their son would not have dared to confide in them on the subject, assures that they would have 'never put him out for that!.'"

Apparently the mother spoke with those witnesses? And this yielded 'no proof of life'? Very confusing this, did the witnesses meet Adrien or someone else?

For me the question still remains if Adrien was with his phone when it pinged in Chambéry.

Btw I hope no one ever checks my internet searches. I would emerge as an active and versatile serial killer with the entire world as a dumping ground. And I like Queen too.

NORDAHL LELANDAIS' APPEAL FOR RELEASE: GRENOBLE COURT OF APPEAL TO RULE ON FRIDAY

France Info
https://www.francetvinfo.fr/faits-d...-en-liberte-de-nordahl-lelandais_2600456.html

The Trial Chamber of the Court of Appeal of Grenoble (Isère) will rule on Friday 9 February on the release of Nordahl Lelandais, indicted for the murder of Maëlys. He appealed the dismissal of his January request.

The hearing was held behind closed doors, but a journalist from franceinfo was able to see Nordahl Lelandais at the very beginning of the hearing. Wearing a large white sweater, the 34-year-old ex-military soldier, who had been taken from his cell in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier prison (Isère) on Thursday morning, has grown a greyish beard and his hair has since been crew-cut.

His lawyer, Alain Jakubowicz, had asked for the debates to be public, believing that "the worst thing is obscurity," but it was a closed session. "My client wanted to be present at this hearing, and I regret that you were not able to see him," he said. "He has no reason to hide."

"If asked,he would have agreed to be photographed," according to the lawyer of Nordahl Lelandais. Alain Jakubowicz regretted: "These images that circulate of him, are deliberately images that present him with a sinister look on his face. They were chosen to illustrate the case, to feed this theory of guilt, of the monster that he is, who has been transformed into a serial killer." Nordahl Lelandais has "no reason to hide," he repeated.

Fabien Rajon, the lawyer for Maëlys's parents, is opposed, like the public prosecutor's office, to this request for release, because "Nordahl Lelandais is being indicted in another case, an element that is causing trouble," according to Fabien Rajon. The lawyer considers that this application for release "is based on a fanciful, if not conspiratorial interpretation of the elements of the file."

Nordahl Lelandais' application for his release was rejected on 23 January, but he appealed this decision. Nordahl Lelandais is indicted for the murder of Maëlys, who disappeared during a wedding in August in Pont-de-Beauvoisin (Isère). He denies any involvement in the girl's disappearance. The former soldier was also indicted and jailed for the assassination of Corporal Arthur Noyer last April in Chambéry.

NORDAHL LELANDAIS: COURT CONFIRMS DETENTION

BFMTV.com
http://www.bfmtv.com/police-justice...on-de-nordahl-lelandais-confirme-1369956.html

The Grenoble Court of Appeal confirmed on Friday that Nordahl Lelandais, the main suspect in the case of Maëlys' abduction and Arthur Noyer's assassination, will remain in detention. A first request for release had been rejected by the judge of freedoms and detention on 23 January.

The 34-year-old suspect was present at the hearing held in chambers of the council, i. e. in closed session. Me Fabien Rajon, the lawyer for Maëlys's parents, was also present at the hearing and "opposed" his release, "like the public prosecutor's office," insisting on video surveillance footage which is at the heart of the prosecution's case.

This appeal of this continued detention in connection with the investigation into the abduction of Maëlys on 27 August 2017 is above all symbolic because Nordahl Lelandais has also been under investigation and detained, since December, for the assassination of Corporal Arthur Noyer in Savoie last April.

DEATH OF CORALIE MOUSSU IN THE GARD: THE LELAMNDAIS TRAIL INVESTIGATED

France Info
https://france3-regions.francetvinf...ssu-gard-piste-lelandais-etudiee-1420185.html

The information was published on Friday 9 February 2018 by Le Midi Libre.

In an interview conducted by the regional daily, Coralie Moussu's family lawyer stated that the Nîmes prosecutor's office wrote to the investigating judge at the end of January "to ask him to check whether Nordahl Lelandais was present in the area where the 32-year-old woman disappeared on 6 November 2009."

Coralie Moussu had literally vanished from her home in Vénéjean in the Gard, a village between Bagnols-sur-Cèze and Pont-Saint-Esprit.

Her body was found a year later in the Rhône. At the time, investigators favoured the idea of suicide by drowning.

Now we learn that Nordahl Lelandais, this Savoyard already indicted for the murder of Maëlys and the murder of a young soldier in Chambéry, Arthur Noyer had family ties in the area.

One of his cousins lives in Bagnols-sur-Cèze and another family member lives nearby in a village north of the department.

Also in the Gard, checks are also under way on the disappearance of 16-year-old Lucas Tronche, 16, on 18 March 2015 in Bagnols-sur-Cèze and another resident of the Gard, 16 years old Antoine Zoia.

Once again, the Public Prosecutor's Office is seeking to establish whether Nordahl Lelandais was in the area at the time of these two disappearances.

BBM

Nordahl Lelandais was in prison in November 2009, wasn't he?

Apparently, Coralie Moussu left in her car, and that car was never found, despite searches in the river. The family has never accepted the assumption of suicide by drowning.
https://www.lexpress.fr/actualite/s...piste-nordahl-lelandais-verifiee_1983623.html

More info about the case:

http://www.midilibre.fr/2011/03/30/...oussu-serait-bien-morte-par-noyade,298217.php

"..... The autopsy proves she ingested water. And in her lungs, it was the water from the Rhone that was found." An initial autopsy was carried out by the Tarascon prosecutor when the body was discovered in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône on December 18. She had concluded "a drowning death", confides a source close to the file. Very quickly, Judge Mathieu, who took the case, ordered a second autopsy "in order to rule out the criminal trail". With two operations. First, toxicological investigation "showed that there were no drug traces in the young woman's body." The other study, carried out at the facilities of specialists in Strasbourg, focused on the search for diatoms, microscopic organisms used to determine the body's path through the river. "In this second step, the expert was very cautious in explaining that the diatoms were not found in the bone marrow (although they were found in other organs, Ndlr). This is the case in 70% of drownings. And 90% in the fall and winter. Seasons that match Coralie's disappearance."

For the magistrate, the drowning thesis is more relevant than ever. "Elements of this report tend towards the theory of suicide by drowning. I asked for new expertise to eliminate any doubt."

If on the gendarmerie side, the investigation is closed "pending a new piece of evidence", Judge Mathieu awaits these new results "within a month and a half", as well as the report of the CNR which must determine whether a body can pass the dams and locks between Saint-Etienne-des-Sorts and Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, before closing the letter rogatory. The family, on the other hand, is waiting. Will they ever know why Coralie ended up in the Rhône?

Here is the intro to an interesting article... with more details on Nordahl's past:

"Two days before his wedding, August 24, 2017, Eddy G. receives a call from an unknown number. He does not pick up. A few seconds, then this text: "Answer, tapette, it's Nono. Eddy calls back. Nordahl Lelandais, whom he has known for more than fifteen years but had lost sight of, learned that he was getting married at Pont-de-Beauvoisin (Isère), 3 km from his home. "He congratulates me, and I tell him that he can come by for an aperitif, that we would be pleased," he told investigators, according to the report that Le Monde was able to consult.

On D-day, the last-minute guest arrives at the multipurpose room wearing shorts, a t-shirt, sneakers that stand out a bit amidst the more formal wear around him, and stays until dinner time. "He came to see me and asked me if he could come back," says Eddy. I told him there was no problem. That he could return around midnight, one a.m., for the cake. That's how Nordahl Lelandais ended up at the wedding party where 9-year-old Maëlys disappeared."

Nine days before the wedding:

"The investigation reveals at least one relationship with a homosexual couple on August 15, 2017.

This dive into the privacy of the suspect may seem voyeuristic, but it could also serve the investigation. According to Le Parisien, the gendarmes discovered "he was frequently on homosexual dating sites". The question now is whether any of Nordahl Lelandais' potential contacts include people who have gone missing since they crossed paths."

Not this time.... :gaah: :gaah:
I was in two minds about buying it - it was unclear if much was new, plus I do not want any temporary subscription - I am still stuck with the German paper Bild :(

Any explanation in the article as to why he would abduct a young girl like Maëlys, have (deadly) homosexual encounters with consenting adults and chase & bother young men who want nothing to do with him??
All while living with his GF and later with his parents?
And combining visits to his family in other regions with possibly causing the disappearance of houswives, a car, a scooter, a mountainbike, teenagers and various troubled persons?

After Maëlys disappeared, I would not have been surprised if he had targeted and groomed children on the internet, but this line of investigation seems to have evaporated almost completely.

Nordahl Guillaume Richard Lelandais was born on February 18, 1983 in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), eighteen months after his brother Sven, and four years after his half-sister Alexandra. Before being locked up, he lived with Jean-Pierre and Christiane, his parents, and Tyron and Câline, his Malinois shepherds, in Domessin (Savoie), in the house that the family has owned since 1990. Just next to Pont-de-Beauvoisin, where he attended elementary school.

. »

He was not working [...] since March 2017, because of a double disc herniation. By the end of the 2000s, he had started a dog training business, which had collapsed. Since then, he had a series of temporary jobs - driver, driver-delivery, ambulance driver (?).

Before that, "he was a teenager like all young people of his age," says his mother, who, however, confided to investigators the existence of a childhood taboo. In school, he wanted to do "sports studies" (...), but he only did this for one year. Something happened but he never wanted to talk to me about it. David G., a friend, got wind of the mystery:

"Something serious would have happened during that time, but Nordahl never talked to us about sports class. It's a part of his youth that is a question mark for us. "
