I tried watching some of these videos from the festival. Even with the sound off - which I recommend! - all these flashes drive me crazy. I do not envy the investigators who have to check this material.

Don't think it is him either. Would be interesting if the man came forward.

Yes, I have to agree with you too - it doesn't look like him to me either. And YES - Sound OFF! LOL!

You can see a guy who looks like "him" (not really, IMO) a couple of times, starting at 4 minutes and 29 seconds into the six-minute video.

Six minutes of my life I will never get back...

I felt some irritation when I read about it.
IMHO I would rather hear more about the wonderful person that Arthur Noyer was, or what we can do to find Lucie Roux or Eric Foray. Or help the parents of Nelly Balmain, and the families of the men who disappeared from Fort de Tamié. There is no mystery that they need help. Except, when you unravel why that help has been lacking for so long, you move right into politics and heads might roll.

Perhaps Nordahl Lelandais isn't that mysterious at all. His life was going nowhere except for spiralling downwards, he was deep into recreational drugs and experimenting with 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, violence and sex. He is keeping his mouth shut on advice of his lawyer and there is no law that obliges him to speak anyway.

If he wanted, he could tell all in 5 minutes, but the media would still insist on a mystery.

I also predict that they'll find a way to blame his mother. Mothers cannot do right. Either they abandon their sons to a harsh life on the streets, or they are softies who take them back into their home. And so on. Whatever she did, it was wrong, even if it turns out she actually did the opposite.

End of rant.

=============

Maybe they come up with something interesting.

NORDAHL LELANDAIS: NEXT HEARING ON JULY 3

LeDauphine.com
Affaire Maëlys : nouvel interrogatoire de Nordahl Lelandais le 3 juillet

Nordahl Lelandais, the thirty-year-old from Domessin indicted for the murder of Maëlys and the murder of Arthur Noyer, will be interviewed again next Tuesday by the Grenoble judges in charge of the first case.

According to concurring sources who spoke with the Dauphiné Libéré, this interrogation will take on an unprecedented and quite exceptional character. Indeed, Nordahl Lelandais, who will be assisted by his lawyer Maître Jakubowicz, will not only be questioned by the investigating judges, but may also be questioned by Maëlys' parents' lawyer. Several weeks ago, Master Rajon requested the investigating chamber of Grenoble to record his presence during the next interrogations, something that the code of criminal procedure allows. A judgment has recently been delivered in this regard, to the great displeasure of the defence. Like Master Jakubowicz, the lawyer for the girl's parents has been summoned these days.

During this hearing, the personality of Nordahl Lelandais should be discussed, but also the autopsy reports of Maëlys' body and the expert reports carried out on all the clothes found near the little girl's bones. But not only that.

Indeed, this new interrogation should also lead to a new and third indictment of Nordahl Lelandais, concerning acts of sexual assault on a minor of 15 years. These are facts brought to light by the investigation of one of the ex-military's telephones. This video, which lasts more than a minute, is unequivocal: a man is touching a little girl who seems asleep. The environmental details of the scene allowed investigators to identify the little victim as a young cousin of Nordahl Lelandais, and believe that the adult arm is that of Lelandais . The attack was filmed at his home in Domessin the weekend before Maëlys was kidnapped and murdered.

In preparation for this new interrogation on these damning new facts, Nordahl Lelandais was extracted last June 6 from his cell in Le Vinatier and then taken to his home in Domessin to allow investigators to establish in procedure elements of comparison between this video and the room in the house where the attack took place. "This new element of an act of a sexual nature committed one week before Maëlys' abduction can only raise questions about Nordahl Lelandais' behaviour on the night of the murder," a judicial source confides to the Dauphiné Libéré.

"Ça a été comme une partie d’échecs"... Regardez notre enquête inédite sur les mystères de Nordahl Lelandais

Only for the French .... where is our French Connection? We had at least one, maybe even two. Au secours!

Here is hoping that someone will put the video on YouTube soon.

First 15 minutes, nothing new. Recap of what we know

Thanks for posting the link. I was able to watch it this time.

So did I. Most of it I knew, but that did not matter. A very clear report of the case sofar. Would recommend it, but you have to know French.

And nice to see and hear Vincent Wales, reporter of the Dauphiné Libéré who is following the case. We owe him a lot. :)

Agreed. There were a few things that were interesting. I think it was said that one of Maëlys' family members was the one who noticed NL at the car wash for over two hours on the day after the wedding. Also, I noticed that an old clip of NL's mother was now blurred... as was that Pepe Jeans logo (finally). They showed a clip of NL's brother I hadn't seen before. No mention of his father or half-sister. Some photos and anecdotes from NL's past...

Someone mentioned that if NL had "accidentally" killed two people in the same manner (slapping or fighting in or near his car) within six months, there must be more... it was actually only a little over four months between Arthur's disappearance and Maëlys' death. No one really believes the "thèse accidentelle."

There were some interesting connections made. I think most people are pretty much certain there are other victims at this point. Several other disappearances were mentioned toward the end. Also... Interesting use of the words "serial killer," in English versus the French.

Nordahl Lelandais: les parents de la petite cousine présumée agressée « sont bouleversés »

His little cousin's parents were traumatized last month. They thought they were being summoned by investigators just because they were Nordahl's relatives... and had no idea about the video on his phone:

"The investigators showed them passages of this video (...) What they saw is a hand, an arm that pulls the panties of a sleeping little girl," says Caroline Remond, the parents' lawyer. This little girl "was then identified as their daughter by the investigators," she says.

Their child is 6 years old. According to BFMTV, the incident took place at the home of Nordahl Lelandais' parents in Domessin, Savoie. A week to the day before the disappearance of Maëlys at a wedding party, the night of 26 to 27 August 2017."

Nordahl will probably be confronted with this video at Tuesday's hearing.

OMG---I had forgotten that they had him on tape, from his own phone, molesting his 6 yr old relative.

UGH.....will this tape make his brother and Mother PLEASE stop defending him, publicly. Enough already. Grrr

  • #1,218
So NL doesn't know about this tape on his phone that LE have? Wonder what kind of excuse he'll come up with....

He knows if we do. His lawyer has access to the files.

Well, then I'm sure he's going to come up with some "excuse" - what that might be should be interesting to say the least....
