NORDAHL L.: HIS SILENCE HOLDS MAËLYS' PARENTS HOSTAGE

RTL.fr
http://www.rtl.fr/actu/societe-fait...d-otage-pour-les-parents-de-maelys-7791533301

How does the family of Maëlys cope with the latest developments in the investigation into the disappearance of the little girl in Isère at the end of August? While the main suspect, Nordahl L., has also been indicted for "assassination" in the case of the disappearance of a soldier, the lawyer for the girl's parents reports a "very difficult situation" for them. "Obviously, they are focusing in a very insistent way on this individual", Fabien Rajon confirms on the RTL microphone on Friday, December 22nd.

For the time being, the principal accused remains silent and this further worsens the physical and moral condition of the missing girl's parents. "They're living it as a hostage situation. Double pain for Maëlys's parents. The abduction of Maëlys is further burdened by the fact that they refuse to tell us what happened to the child," the lawyer explains. "We don't know what happened to the child (...). The situation is objectively untenable."

But about Nordahl L's involvement: "we have no objective doubts," the lawyer says. He affirms his respect for the work of the authorities and the presumption of innocence. He describes "four months of an unbearable wait" up to the revelations of the last few days, which Fabien Rajon calls "an additional element for the parents that tends to confirm that this individual has many things to say in the context of their child's disappearance."

"We have a feeling of ambiguity, because while Nordahl L. sticks to a logic of denying the facts, his defense counsel has expressed himself publicly to contest some points of the case," Fabien Rajon continues. At the same time, Nordahl L.'s defence does not appeal his pre-trial detention and does not apply for release.

"Maëlys' parents are waiting to find out what happened to their little girl. They are objectively in a very bad state , morally and physically in a very bad state," according to their lawyer. "What is inflicted on them is unprecedented in our recent history and objectively very difficult to live with."

It must be so difficult for her family. I can see how they might hold on to hope that she was given to someone, and may be alive still. But that might bring even worse fears---so it must be so devastating to even imagine...

If my child was missing and I heard that months before the suspect had been looking up 'how to make a body decompose' I would break into that prison with bare hands and bang his head against the wall until he told everything.

To think that he may have killed a grown man, a trained soldier - what chances would a little girl of nine years stand? Abduction by a paedophile is horrible as it is, but this case, this man, is turning into something far beyond that horror. Which i did not think possible, until I heard about the missing corporal.

I wonder what came up when he did his internet searches.

Nordahl:

Born in Boulogne-Billancourt on February 18, 1983, this dog enthusiast joins, at the age of 19, the ranks of the 132nd dog battalion of the army in Suippes (Marne). Four and a half years later, he will be reformed P4, because of "his unstable psychological behavior" and his addiction to cannabis. He is then forced to return to his parents in Domessin (Savoie). His canine breeding business will quickly go bankrupt. Then he will be fired by a Chambery boss because of his "aggressive and unmanageable" behavior. He went so far as to threaten to set the company on fire ...

Combining the failures, the ex-military is "noticed" in October 2008, with two accomplices, engaging in a battle of eggs and fruits in a supermarket, by burning tricolor flags, and a restaurant in Paladru (Isère). He will be sentenced to one year in prison, a sentence he will make under electronic bracelet. Then will be under probation until April 2013.

During this period, cumulating odd jobs, he goes between Domessin and Chambéry, where he rented an apartment for a year. Before being dismissed.

Athletic, even narcissistic, Lelandais, a tribal tattoo between the shoulder blades... The Dauphiné Libéré is able to give a new testimony. Grégory (not his real name) frequented Nordahl Lelandais when he lived in Chambéry in 2011-2012: "I was a waiter in nightclubs in Chambéry and Aix-les-Bains. That's where I knew Nordahl. He went out very often, almost every night, and came with military friends. He had a very good friend, a member of the 13th BCA. Grégory was 23 years old at the time and he made friends with Nordahl. "It was my job to build customer loyalty. He was always courteous, good customer, never brawler, nice. So it happened to me to invite him to parties outside the club. It was at this point that Lelandais' behavior would have changed dramatically after a few nights with friends: "We were having a party at home with a friend. We played at the game console and Nordahl was with us. It was a game where we killed zombies. And there, Nordahl made remarks that made us very uncomfortable. We did not know... , we stopped talking... I do not remember his exact words but it scared us. And with hindsight, when I see what is happening today, it's chilling..."

ARTHUR NOYER'S BATTALION ASSURES THAT THEY THOUGHT HE WAS MISSING, NOT A DESERTER

Europe1
http://www.europe1.fr/faits-divers/...quil-le-pensait-disparu-pas-deserteur-3528188

The young soldier, for whose murder Nordahl Lelandais has been indicted, was classified administratively as a "deserter".

Administratively classified as a "deserter", Arthur Noyer was only considered as "missing" by his fellow Alpine hunters, the commander of his battalion assured this Friday. The prosecutor's office announced Wednesday that his DNA had been identified on "the remains of a human skull" found early September on a hiking trail in the area; and that Nordahl Lelandais, a 34 year old ex-military officer suspected of kidnapping and killing a girl in late August in Isere, was indicted for his murder.

On April 12, Arthur Noyer did not report for duty. "This was not a normal behaviour on his part," Colonel Emmanuel Devigne, commander of the 13th Battalion of Alpine fighters, said during a press briefing at the barracks in the Roc Noir district of Barby, near Chambéry.

If the army considered him until recently as a deserter, until the end of November according to the regional daily newspaper Le Dauphiné Libéré, it was, as was specified, for "a matter of software", his absence having to tick pre-established boxes. But "he was missing for us from start to finish," Colonel Devigne said.

On Thursday, Cécile and Didier Noyer, his parents, were received at the barracks. "We will remain faithful to them," the commander of their son's battalion promised. He disappeared on the night of 11-12 April after leaving Chambéry.

"His death is a shock to us all," Colonel Devigne continued. Accompanied by Captain Thibault, commander of the third company in which Arthur Noyer served, he expressed "all the sadness" felt in his heart and the "affection" brought to the family of the deceased.

The army is not aware of any contacts Arthur Noyer might have had during his service with Nordahl Lelandais, it was added by a source.

Nordahl, continued:

"Gregory" never renewed the invitation afterwards. The waiter explains that after this episode, Lelandais disappeared for a few days "and when he reappeared, he explained to us that he felt badly psychologically and that he had made a short stay in a psychiatric hospital". According to information from Dauphiné Libéré, Lelandais was treated until early 2013 by the center of alcoholism Chambéry because of its heavy dependence on alcohol. He had also taken up with the medical-psychological center of Chambéry because of a depression. The testimony of some of his ex-girlfriends attests to that too. Several of them had been heard by the investigators of the Research Section of Grenoble. All had given the same observation to the gendarmes: "He was threatening, violent, even very violent, in the context of rupture," had told the Dauphiné Libéré a source close to the file.

Describing him as a manipulator, a former girlfriend had even described a particularly trying time when Nordahl Lelandais had taken her to the woods "to explain himself". "I thought I was living my last hour," she said during her audition.

This face of his personality, complex and dark, is radically different from that of the man described by his family since the beginning of the Maëlys affair. A family that continues to claim his innocence, and this since his first hour of custody. His mother, his brother and his sister, or his friends have always been a block. Neither the family nor Mr. Alain Jakubowicz have spoken since the announcement of the new indictment.

More on Nordahl. More fires... more denials...

His military medical record, requested by the instruction, has not arrived yet. According to information from France 2, "he was using narcotics and accidentally set fire to his room in 2004".

At the end of April 2009, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, 12 of which were closed for burglary and burning a year earlier, along with others, a restaurant on Lake Paladru in northern Isère. He was released on parole in October 2010. Regarding this case, Nordahl Lelandais "denies having participated," according to a source close to the record cited by AFP.

Trying to put these in year order. Did I miss anyone?

Nordahl Lelandais was stationed in Suippes, in the 132nd Army Dog Battalion, between 2002 and 2007.

Estelle Mouzin's father, who disappeared in January 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), 170 km awayl

the ex-military is "noticed" in October 2008, with two accomplices, engaging in a battle of eggs and fruits in a supermarket, by burning tricolor flags, and a restaurant in Paladru (Isère). He will be sentenced to one year in prison. (October 2009 ?)

He was released on parole in October 2010. Wondering "what" day he was released, as this happened: Was he anxious to kill again on the 6th?

Adrien Fiorello, a 22-year-old student who disappeared on 6 October 2010 while he was on his way to university.

Jean-Christophe Morin, 23, disappeared in September 2011 at Fort Tamié.

Ahmed Hamadou, 45, disappeared in September 2012 at Fort Tamié.

Arthur Noyer, 23 years old, disappeared in April 2017 in Chambéry

Adrien Mourialmé, 24 years old, disappeared in July 2017 on the shores of Lake Annecy.

Maëlys, 9 years old, disappeared at Pont-de-Beauvoisin in August 27, 2017

So from 2012 to 2017 - 5 years! Any missing people in that time frame??

There are also the Al-Hilli/Mollier murders near Chevaline September 5th 2012, which the authorities are apparently looking at again, possibly in regards to Nordahl (IMO, this is *very* tenuous).

Regarding your list: it’s Estelle, not her father who is missing.

There are a few other MP cases in the area :

L'association Assistance et Recherche des personnes disparues recense aussi d'autres disparitions en Savoie et Haute-Savoie: Hugo, 28 ans, disparu en 2012, et Illhan, en 2016, tous deux à Albertville. Ou encore celle de Florent début 2014 à Bourg-Saint-Maurice

NB: none of these have been officially mentioned in connection with NL

- Hugo, 28 years old missing from Albertville since 15th June 2012
- Florent Bonnet, 37 years old missing from Bourg-Saint-Martin since January 2014
- Ilhan Sahingoz, 39 years old missing from Albertville since 11th April 2016

NORDAHL LELANDAIS: ONE WOULD LIKE ONE SIMPLE ARREST TO SOLVE EVERYTHING

Ouest France
https://www.ouest-france.fr/faits-d...qu-une-seule-arrestation-resolve-tout-5465708

Jean-Marc Bloch, former divisional commissioner of the national police who led the Estelle Mouzin case, answers our questions about the suspect's personality.

What can we say about the main characteristics of Nordahl Lelandais?

According to what came out in the press, he is a strong man, who is psychologically strong. If he is guilty, one should not expect him to reveal Maëlys' whereabouts. Some of his relatives describe him as a very sympathetic and open-minded person, while others, including a former employer and girlfriends, describe him as a man with violent outbursts of real concern.

In interrogation, he seems to have an answer to everything, even if it means modifying his answers and changing his version when confronted with his contradictions. Doesn't seem like the kind of guy to crack and make spontaneous confessions.

Do these traits fit the profile of the serial killer?

It's very difficult to establish. In France, we prefer the expression "repeat killer", less sensational. Their personalities are always very troubling because they have many facets: Thierry Paulin, for example, was a charismatic and rather sympathetic person. He killed 18 people. On the other hand, they become killers for reasons that are very difficult to understand.

Most repeat killers have a very strong sexual connotation. Usually, the child killer kills to erase traces, not to get caught. Murder is not the first intention, it's rape. Between Nordahl Lelandais and Arthur Noyer and Maëlys, we have not yet established the existence of a sexual connotation, we can envisage it but it has yet to be proven for the time being.

What about the choice of victims, if that turns out to be the cause of the disappearances?

That's the strangest part. In general, repeat killers are interested in the same typology of victims. Thierry Paulin was killing very old women, for example. It can be little girls, young women, men of 25 years old... It's quite rare that we have repeat killers attacking victims of different typologies. Rare, but not impossible.

In the case of Cécile Bloch, for example, a 13-year-old girl found dead in the cellars of the building where she lived with her parents. The investigation revealed that she had been killed by an individual nicknamed "the hailstorm", whose DNA was also found on the bodies of several other victims, men and women, between the ages of 8 and 38.

The family of Estelle Mouzin, who disappeared in 2003, asked for Nordahl Lelandais to be heard. You were in charge of the investigation at the time, do you think he could be the person responsible?

We'd like a single arrest to solve everything we couldn't solve. A single serial killer would make everyone happy. For Estelle's disappearance, the only thing that matters is whether or not he was in the area at the time. Was he near Guermantes at the time of his disappearance? That's the only thing that matters.

What must be remembered about the Estelle Mouzin case is that no material elements were found. No DNA, no fingerprints, no evidence of the time of the disappearance. So even if Nordahl Lelandais were in the area at the time of the disappearance - 14 years ago, he was 20 years old - it would not be enough to prove that he actually kidnapped and killed Estelle Mouzin.

The only real solution would be for him to confess. And we saw it, it's not really his style. In the case of Maëlys and Arthur Noyer, there are very concrete elements that make it possible to send the suspect to trial and judge him. Beyond that, we have nothing but hypotheses and assumptions.

Can we consider bringing him to trial when no bodies have been found?

In my career, I've never had a culprit without a body before. This is a rare situation but it can happen. In France, Maurice Agnelet was convicted in 2014 of the murder of Agnès Le Roux. His body was never found.

If Nordahl Lelandais turns out to be also responsible for the Chevaline killings, he would not only be a repat killer with different types of victims, but also with a radically different MO ~ unless of course it turns out that he shot his other victims with the same weapon. Somehow I think that unlikely. Can't see him driving around with the one gun that the entire French police force is looking for.

  • #591
I agree with you ZaZara (and the above article) about the discrepancies in the different types of victims, possible MO, etc (particularly concerning the Chevaline case).

I’m seeing very vague possible similarities between the type of some of the men missing (other than geography), but haven’t yet had time to firm up my ideas & put them into coherent form.

Thanks for that link, but I don't do French. Maybe someone can translate the pertinent information on this page?

Nordahl Lelandais was stationed in Suippes (Marne), in the 132nd Army Dog Battalion, between 2002 and 2007.

Estelle Mouzin, 9, who disappeared in 9th January 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), 150-170 km away from NL's residence.

The ex-military is "noticed" in October 2008, with two accomplices, engaging in a battle of eggs and fruits in a supermarket, by burning tricolor flags, and a restaurant in Paladru (Isère). He will be sentenced to one year in prison. (October 2009 ?)

CURRENT VERIFICATIONS AND FILES THAT MAY BE RE-OPENED

France Info
https://www.francetvinfo.fr/faits-d...ns-qui-pourraient-etre-reouverts_2527129.html

Current verifications

Adrien Mourialmé, 24 years old, disappeared in July 2017 at the edge of Lake Annecy (Haute-Savoie). This Belgian cook has given no sign of life since he left for a hike on Lake Annecy, near Talloires-Montmin. The geographical and temporal proximity with the disappearances of young Maëlys and 23-year-old soldier Arthur Noyer justify verification, Annecy's prosecutor told Franceinfo. But at this stage, no link is established.

Ahmed Hamadou, 45, disappeared in September 2012 at Fort Tamié (Savoie). This inhabitant of La Bridoire (Savoie) vanished around 5am during the third edition of the electro festival Elements. A cousin of Ahmed Hamadou assures France 3 that Nordahl and Ahmed "knew each other by sight". The two men lived a few kilometres apart. Farida Hamadou, Ahmed's sister, is waiting for a lot of new checks by the gendarmes to establish or not a link with the former dog-handler.

Jean-Christophe Morin, 23, disappeared in September 2011 at Fort Tamié (Savoie). A year earlier, this young man also disappeared in the middle of the night at the Elements festival. According to France 2, investigations are being re-launched in view of the geographical proximity of this disappearance to places frequented by Nordahl Lelandais. "Jean-Christophe Morin's father, contacted by franceinfo, reacted on the phone. Daniel Morin had not yet been informed by the gendarmes on Wednesday, December 20, of this possible rapprochement. "If they reopen the case, it's already a big step forward," he says.

Requests of families of the missing

Estelle Mouzin, 9 years old, disappeared on 9 January 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne). The child vanished around 6 p. m. on the way between school and home. The girl's father and his lawyers asked the judges investigating the case to investigate Nordahl Lelandais. At the age of 19, he was at the military camp of Suippes (Marne), about 150 kilometres from the site of Estelle Mouzin's disappearance. "One of the things we need to do is check the phone to see if he was around at the time," lawyer Didier Seban SAID.

Adrien Fiorello, 22, disappeared on 6 October 2010 in Chambéry (Savoie). This 22-year-old student was last seen on his way to university. He left at 9:00 a. m. from Firminy (Loire) and his phone went off at 5:37 p. m. in..... Chambéry. Hence the possible connection with Nordhal Lelandais.

Malik Boutvillain, 32, disappeared on 6 May 2012 in Echirolles (Isère). Since leaving home that day, the 30-year-old who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia has not been heard from again. An investigation for a disturbing disappearance has been opened by the police officers of the Grenoble Departmental Security Police, but has not yielded anything. The relatives of Malik Boutvillain have contacted Bernard Valezy, president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes section of the ARDP association. They would like investigations to be resumed, given the geographical proximity.

Nordine Seghiri, 49, disappeared on 10 July 2015 in Chambéry (Savoie). This man has not given any sign of life since he ran away from the hospital in Chambéry, where he had been treated for a few days. According to Bernard Valezy, the remains of Nordine Seghiri were found in March 2016 on a vacant lot in the commune of La Ravoire, near Chambéry. "They found his skull and bones scattered over 3,000 square metres. The investigation led to a natural death, but the family persists in believing that he had a bad encounter," explains Bernard Valezy, contacted by Nordine Seghiri's relatives to re-initiate investigations with the prosecutor's office.

Stéphane Chemin, 33 years old, disappeared on September 24,2012 in Bourg-d' Oisans (Isère), had been treated for schizophrenia for ten years, and was in a crisis when he disappeared that day. According to Bernard Valezy, the investigation is closed but the family would like to see it reopened to carry out checks with Nordahl Lelandeis telephone.

Other missing persons files in the region

The association Assistance et recherche des personnes disparues (Assistance and search for missing persons) has compiled a list of people who have vanished in a wider geographical area, in Savoie, Isère and Ain. Bernard Valezy mentions:

Florent Bonnet, 37 years old, who disappeared on January 18,2014 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (Savoie). "We found his motorcycle and helmet near the Siaix tunnel."
Or the disappearance of Eve Monteil, 49 years old, on 25 August 2014, in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain).
Sixteen months later, 30-year-old Anne-Charlotte Poncin evaporated on January 5,2016 in Ambérieu-en-Bugey (Ain).
The same year, on August 12, 2016 in Saint-Romans (Isère), Olivier Charpe, 59, never returned from a mountain bike ride.

"There is nothing to indicate that these files will be reopened in light of the Nordhal Lelandais cases," Bernard Valezy admits. "But it doesn't cost anything to request it."

"IN FRANCE WE HAVE NO DATABASE OF MISSING PERSONS"

LeMonde
http://www.lemonde.fr/societe/artic...nse-les-cas-de-disparitions_5233741_3224.html

Corinne Herrmann, the lawyer who defends the Mouzin family, is also a criminologist. In particular, she works on unsolved cases.

It's a classic of all investigative work, but it arouses a lot of fantasies. The Prosecutor of the Republic of Chambéry (Savoie) announced on Thursday, 21 December, that the investigators will examine "all the disturbing disappearances in the region" likely to be attributable to Nordahl Lelandais. The 34-year-old former soldier has just been indicted for the murder of the missing soldier in Savoy in the spring, after a first indictment in another case, the disappearance of little Maëlys.

Lawyer Corinne Herrmann defends the Mouzin family, who sent a request for verification to the judge in charge of their daughter Estelle's disappearance in 2003, when she was 9 years old. At the time, Nordahl Lelandais was 19 years old and was at the military camp of Suippes (Marne), about 150 kilometres from the place of disappearance. The criminologist, a specialist in unsolved cases, says she "makes this kind of request every fortnight."

Several lawyers call for further investigations of Nordahl Lelandais, when it is not the judges themselves who decide to investigate disappearances that may be attributable to the suspect. Is this a classic procedure? How is it justified?

Corinne Herrmann: For lawyers specializing in unsolved disappearance cases, it is a classic procedure to ask for checks into files that could be linked to one of the cases being followed. It's the elementary science of any investigation into a missing person. Usually investigators and magistrates spontaneously extend the search, but for a lawyer, it would be a mistake not to request it.

It is a work technique, which does not mean that you are trying to intimidate or overwhelm a suspect, or even prejudge guilt. It's just checking to clear or confirm a track.

In this kind of case, like that of Estelle Mouzin, that is almost fifteen years old, there is an urgent need to restart the investigation before losing all the clues. Families are reassured to see that the file remains active, that we are moving forward in a way.

Together with my colleague Didier Seban, we have been working on disappearances for twenty-two years. Very quickly, we see the similarities between cases, before a suspect is even named, the facts speak to us. You don't kill a child in 36 different ways. In the Estelle Mouzin case, I had to ask for checks about ten times. If we look at all the files I process, I make a request every two weeks. Usually this is not known, but here, the Maëlys affair is covered by the media.

In the case of Nordahl Lelandais, you made a request on 7 September, just after Maëlys' disappearance, what prompted you to do so?

Didier Seban and I, we have met a lot of serial killers, especially during long trials. The Maëlys affair immediately interested us, in the sense that it was out of the ordinary. We made the request three months ago, but we did not disclose it because the perpetrator should not know that this is being considered. If he has a list of people who suspect him, he can prepare his answers. I can only tell you that I am going to make further requests concerning other cases to be compared with those involving Nordahl Lelandais.

Obviously, I respect the presumption of innocence, but I would simply point out that there are similarities between his profile and those I have encountered in my career. A series of indicators, particularly as regards the framework for abduction - but which I will not expand on - that make this not a trivial matter.

I can only say that he has an intriguing profile, which reminds me of Pierre Chanal [a chief warrant officer who killed himself just before his trial in 2003 for the disappearance of seven soldiers who hitchhiked]. Nordahl Lelandais is a former soldier, he's a taciturn one.

This attitude alerted us: that of a person who resists, finding answers to everything, without complex, and above all without the slightest emotion. For all the criminals we meet, each one has its own story, each one has its own way of doing things, but none of them put any affect [ emotion ] in it. They never get offended if we suspect them. There's something about the fight with the investigators. Innocent people, on the other hand, are overwhelmed because what they are being blamed for is unbearable.

What is the state of mind of families when potentially related issues arise?

First, they feel that their child has been taken away again. They relive the trauma of the disappearance. Above all, it is a disgrace to think that the man who attacked their child may have caused other victims. When we ask for verification, it is both an expectation and a resignation for families. For them, the more time goes by, the harder it is to get answers, and the more chronic the suffering becomes.

What are the peculiarities and difficulties in these unsolved cases? How can we explain why some cases are stagnating?

Investigators do not know how to handle these cases, there are no specialized judges who know how to investigate. And the judges change every two or three years, but in the case of unresolved cases, continuity is needed. A file like Estelle Mouzin's, it takes months to read it, the judges don't do it, so they can't restart the investigation.

Today, these issues are not being dealt with, we don't believe in it; we need to bring in the numbers and the forces are running out, so we move on to another one. Or, since the investigators find themselves in a situation of failure in the face of these gigantic files, after a while, they don't take them on any more, so they close them again.

In France, we do not have tools, there is no database that lists cases of disappearance. So it's complicated to make connections. But I want to remain optimistic, never give up. When everyone gets involved, policemen, prosecutors, judges, we can do it. I think we'll find Maëlys, I hope it for the parents, but I do hope for Estelle and the others to. I wouldn't do this job if I didn't have that hope.

Hugo, 28 years old missing from Albertville since 15th June 2012

RSBM

Hugo is Hugo Raffi, aged 28 at the time of his disappearance.

hugo_raffi_300.jpg

He went for a walk in flip-flops, no cell phone, no ID, no driver's license and no means of payment.
Since his departure, neither his family nor the police have heard from him, nor are there any leads...

The only thing that makes me think twice about him being involved in much older disappearances is that he searched for ways of getting rid of a body this year. He would have been an expert already it seems, if he started much younger.

Jean-Christophe Morin's sister:

"Wednesday, I received a call from a journalist and that's when I learned that there was a link between Lelandais and my brother," says Adeline Morin. Since the beginnings of what is now known as the Maëlys affair, she had "ticked". As with each new disappearance. But without relaunching hope for as much. "We can not. We say that it is only another psychopath," she reasoned again.

And then the affair took off, Nordahl Lelandais was indicted as part of the disappearance of Corporal Arthur Noyer. And links with other disappearances or murders have been mentioned. "It's a blow. We do not believe it. We only see this on TV. "

And the coincidences continue. She keeps being mistaken in the name of Lelandais, calling him Sven, she goes on the internet. She then realizes. "Last year, I helped Nordahl Lelandais' brother, Sven, find a seasonal job as part of my job," she continues. "Once again, we collapse. And then we rationalize. Always. It was probably just a coincidence."A disturbing coincidence. She did not dare to call the employer. "I'm really not comfortable," she admits.

"The worst thing would be the abominable. That he met Mr. Lelandais "

Adeline Morin is now waiting for answers. "A gendarmerie official called me Thursday night to tell me that nothing confirmed anything. A call to patience. A lack of information that has been eating away for six years. "I'm not very optimistic. My parents are but me since the disappearance of Ahmed, I can not," she breathes. Today, if she says she is "shared" as to the evolution of this whole affair, Adeline is especially "very afraid". "The worst thing would be the abominable. That he met Mr. Lelandais."

Morin's sister:

"Do you think that Nordahl Lelandais could play a role in the disappearance of Jean-Christophe?"

I have no idea, but the profile of this man seems disturbing. Thanks to the new investigations which will be carried out, I hope that we will know if Nordahl Lelandais was at the Fort Tamie festival, on the evening of September 10, 2011, the day of my brother's disappearance. And, if so, I will not need more to tell me deep inside me that Jean-Christophe has unfortunately crossed his path. Even if this man is entitled to the presumption of innocence.

"Can material elements, in your opinion, help to relaunch the investigation?"

My brother's backpack was found a few hundred meters from Fort Tamié, near a garbage container. There may be DNA traces on this bag. I hope justice still has this bag for new exams. At the time, my brother did not have a phone on him. The gendarmes could not locate him through it. But we can revive memories. People may have met Mr. Lelandais that night. Photos, films were taken during this festival. Details can appear today.

"Wednesday, you went to the gendarmerie to evoke a curious meeting ..."

Yes, after finding out about Nordahl Lelandais through the media, I remembered that in 2016, as part of my professional activity, I met his brother. He was looking for a seasonal job in the area. In hindsight, this meeting disturbs me. So I went to the gendarmerie to report it.
