So if the 18 yo kid that turned himself in was not a participant in this terror attack, who was the third gunman?

Exactly.........

The National Front (far right) is so far not involved but press are saying it's only a matter of time. There is a rally on Sunday, they are yet to be invited, much debate on whether or not they should be.

Chances are they have to be, because this is an attack against free speech. We might not like what they are saying, but they have the right to say it I guess.

I cannot believe this has gone another full day and the gunmen are still on the loose.

Does anyone know if the third suspect that surrendered has been released. I did a bit of googling and could not find anything about him.

If nothing reported he has not been released.

It really makes me wonder if there are more. Those aiding these two. They seemingly not only run but they can hide? Then again I have also come to believe France is keeping things close to the vest. Unlike us Western's who are use to seeing/hearing live in the moment????

Gas station robbed by suspects?
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-30733798

"The two main suspects in the Islamist attack on Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris are said to have robbed a service station in the north of France.

The Picardy region has been put on high alert and armed police and helicopters have been seen in and around the village of Longpont, where a witness said officers had been making house-to-house inquiries."

Statement live Minister of Interior Cazeneuve speaks: http://www.france24.com/fr/tv-en-direct-chaine-live/

Montrouge is suburb of Paris near Place d' Orlean, akin to Brooklyn or Queens, from when I was there. This is so sad, but I have no doubt France is strong.

'You should read it before you kill it.' roughly translated from what a friend of Charlie Hebdo states, 'They're killing clowns.' who adds that satirical publications struggle just stay alive.

Guys I am tough, I am asking, am I "off" in being confused about no mention of the others injured or in critical condition, it is like space warp - the global media has completly acted like, from the beginning, those folks were not impacted.

I dont know how to tweet, nor care to know etc - can some of you ask about the other the 11 - tweet a a news organziation and inquire why there is zero coverage about these other human beings . It is weird and bothersome is it no?

Good to see you CARIIS. I'm wondering if they are not reporting about the others to protect them. Presently these guys are god knows where. We don't know exactly how many are involved etc. etc. Perhaps we will hear more once this nightmare has a conclusion????
ETA I will send out a tweet and let you know if i get an answer

I came across some of the names of the other victims as part of this article on LeMonde.fr - I've translated some of it with Google Translate. Please excuse some of the errors.

"September writers and cartoonists died in seconds Cabu, Charb, Tignous, Wolinski, Bernard Maris, Honoré and Elsa Cayat a woman yet, analyst and columnist. Mustapha Ourrad, Kabyle checker who had obtained French nationality a month earlier, was also murdered. Franck Brinsolaro, one of two police officers who ensures the security of Charb continuously since the attack in November 2011, was also killed, as Michel Renaud, former chief of staff to Mayor Clermont-Ferrand , invited by the editor."

"Twelve dead in all, eleven wounded, four seriously. Philippe Lançon was severely hit in the face, shoulder Riss, Fabrice Nicolino leg. Simon Fieschi, the young webmaster responsible for managing the "**** storm", the insults addressed to dump writing for years on social networks and telephone is the most severely affected."

Salon:

Cartoon Debate
The case for mocking religion.

On Wednesday, gunmen attacked the offices of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, killing 12. The magazine was known for printing images of the prophet Mohammed, including the 2005 cartoons that originally ran in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, leading to widespread violence. In February 2006, Christopher Hitchens addressed that controversy in his inimitable way.

Maybe I missed it, but how do they know there was a third suspect? I only saw the two that committed the massacre, was the third suspect in the car, was the person a lookout? I haven't seen any mention of what the third suspect did, or how authorities know there was another person.
