Hollande calling it a terrorist attack.
He also confirmed 77 dead included children.
Hollande calling it a terrorist attack.
This was France's July 4th.
A time for families with children to gather to watch the fireworks.
You just know everyone was distracted with the fireworks.
I'm thinking that the murderers took this into consideration, so, they could inflict the most damage.
I must say. I am surprised, that France intelligence did not barricade the entrance and exits to this event for vehicles.
I am not blaming, just questioning.
A very sad day again, for both France, and the rest of our civilized world.
Please stop spreading the no-go zone rumors. It serves no useful purpose except to inflame hatred and fear.Because they have allowed immigrants to settle their own communities with their own commerce, schools, law enforcement, etc., and not assimilate. So the ISIS-minded followers are already there and free to move about the country and the EU, also.

Even FOX News has apologized for spreading false infomation.
“A week later, Fox News issued four separate on-air apologies for reporting the story about no-go zones incorrectly, including one in which anchor Julie Banderas offered a blanket apology to "the people of France and England":
Over the course of this last week we have made some regrettable errors on air regarding the Muslim population in Europe — particularly with regard to England and France.
This applies especially to discussions of so-called 'no-go zones,' areas where non-Muslims allegedly aren't allowed in, and police supposedly won't go.
To be clear, there is no formal designation of these zones in either country, and no credible information to support the assertion there are specific areas in these countries that exclude individuals based solely on their religion.
There are certainly areas of high crime in Europe, as there are in the United States and other countries — where police and visitors enter with caution. We deeply regret the errors, and apologize to any and all who may have taken offense, including the people of France and England.”
This is from Snopes but I am fairly certain there are other sources for it, perhaps even Fox itself.

Have you heard about the areas of Europe, or perhaps even of the United States, that are run by jihadists and which non-Muslims can't even enter?
Don't get too worried if you haven't: They don't exist. Or maybe you have, if you watch Fox News or read snippets of Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal's speech about Islamic extremism. While politics is rife with falsehoods, myths, and baseless rumors, it's often tough to see exactly where a claim comes from, and how it reaches a wider audienceincluding, for example, a Republican governor with apparent presidential aspirations and a reputation as a sober policy wonk. Here, however, it's possible to follow forensic traces and see how some small elements of truth metastasized into an outlandish claim....
I’ve just spoken to American-Palestinian writer Ismail Khalidi, who was watching the Bastille Day fireworks at the Promenade de Anglasis about 800m west of the Hotel Negresco.
Khalidi said he was with a group that were trying to leave the promenade after the fireworks to avoid the crowd, which he said already felt pushy and unsafe, when people began running toward them. It was about 10 minutes after the fireworks had finished.
“All of a sudden we saw essentially a stampede of people coming along the Promenade de Anglasis,” he said.
“The stampede just sort of kept coming… we are talking families, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people.
“Then all of a sudden the stampede started coming from the other direction.”
Khalidi said that people who had come from the scene of the attack said police had “told people to start running, without telling people why.”
“I’ve never seen a stampede like that. I have never seen that level of chaos and hysteria and terror and a total lack of information about what’s going on.”
