I always felt that SNOOTY look PR has on her face on the cover was meant just for Steve Thomas...aimed directly at him as a matter of fact.JR looks pretty somber, but PR's expression seem to have much more emotion in it..a 'how dare you say I murdered my daughter!' look. And a 'I wrote this great book just to refute you and show the world how wonderful I am',expression.
I just watched the Who killed the Pageant Queen or something like that on the WE channel. I got so fired up I ended up throwing my banana cream pie. I stood up saying Lou your leaving out all the pertinent evidence saying how he had to know better than that. I said why don't you tell the Whole truth about Patsy's fibers being in the garrote. My husband said your grounded for a week when he was nearly smacked with the pie. Ever clean banana cream pie off your carpet? Not fun.....grrrrrrrrrrr

I saw that program when it aired last month, CK, and got as angry as you did(without the banana cream pie, lol)

I used to think Lou Smit meant well and was hoodwinked by the Rs years ago, but I don't anymore...I think he's intentionally putting out false and misleading information to promote his intruder theory. Being told by the IDI folks at CTV that Smit said JonBenet had her own blood and skin under her nails made me want to scream "What are you talking about? Meyer's very clear - none of that was under her nails!" I don't see how Lou Smit can sit there and make those claims when the evidence doesn't match up, and it makes me really angry that so many people watching that program are going to just believe him without checking his accuracy.

And his theory that the intruder brought in the pineapple in a tupperware container - please. Even if the intruder did bring the bugaboo pineapple in, in order for it to get to her small intestine JonBenet would have had to have eaten 1 - 2 hours before she was killed - and I just don't see an intruder waking JB up, convincing her to eat this snack he brought, and then waiting around for another hour or so before he killed her.

What I saw was so totally far off from reality in my opinion. I had a fit on his comment about her blood and skin under the nails. That and the dna belonging to no one in the family. And his former boss from El Paso Cty and also the Former DA from there buying into it and suing for the right for Lou to present basically only his side to the Grand Jury even though I already knew it all, just seeing it again well it .... all served to just irritate the daylights right out of me. I was ranting at the television. See thats what gets me, your right many are just going to believe him without checking a single bit of it out for accuracy. Pffffftttt....I am still steamed.

Yeah, I think my husband really understands where I am coming from and agrees. Its just I think he has lost faith in a system where JonBenet
will ever have justice.

I'm glad that I am not the only one whose husband "thinks" they are obsessed. :)

Count me in on that too.

I think im going to have to get my DOI book out and reread it. Sounds like it has some subtle little clues I missed the time I did read it. I didnt really read it anyway I just skimmed thru it - I just figured it would be a pile of lies .

All too common conversation at my house:

IrishMister: Hey, whatcha lookin' at?

Me: JonBenét stuff

IrishMister: It's never gonna get solved, ya know

Me: It might- you don't know that! It could one day! We could figure it out!

IrishMister: *shakes head sadly* and goes back to what he was doing.

Sounds very very familiar. Except I don't say we could figure it out. I say one day we could get the special prosecutor and get this into court. You see, I think we figured the important parts out years ago....We need a change in the power structure that is what we need. Once that happens its like a stack of dominoes. JMHO in the meantime hubby "shakes his head sadly" and goes back to what he was doing.....

Look at everything in the opposite way of what is said, and it all starts to make sense.Esp. look at JR's description of the murderer, and reverse it all. Know anyone? It sounds just like PR.

Maybe, but I didnt think so.

I thought they explained it as the death of their innocence, not their daughters.

HAS to be male, rationale on that is the head injury was so severe that only a *man could have inflicted it

Younger rather than older (25-35)

pedo, with a pref. for female children

knows how to tie sophisticated knots, and knows their purposes well

may be part of a gang or from a foreign country

either an ex-con,or has been around hardened criminals

previous experience with break-ins

is familiar with use of a garrotte

_________________________________

hmm, ok....in contrast...

WOMAN

OLDER RATHER THAN YOUNGER (over 35)

NOT A PEDO

NOT PART OF A GANG

FROM THE USA

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH BREAK-INS

NOT AN EX-CON,AND HASN'T BEEN AROUND HARDENED CRIMINALS

NOT FAMILIAR WITH GARROTTES OR KNOTS (we know the garrotte wasn't functional as such)

..know anyone??

one more thing...

JR says PR didn't know how much his bonus was (IOW-she couldn't have put that in the RN herself)

___________________

= she likely *did know, and used that figure in the RN

JR also says the RN HAD to be written b/f the murder..

so it likely was written afterwards (that's pretty obvious though,IMO)

**watch out for bold comments**

usually when ppl make BOLD comments as such,it tends to be a big red flag.
Sort of like on multiple choice tests, where bold and direct,can't- be- any- other way answers usually aren't the right ones.

Sorry,I don't,as I don't generally keep links.Does anyone have that one?I think it was in the National Enquirer where they admitted it?
I believe it is in the National Enquiror interview that both Patsy and John gave and I do not have it now. I read it within this past year though.
