Fresno County Sheriff's Office

Help Needed to Identify Hospitalized Woman

On Saturday, November 22, deputies responded to a field in Sanger where a woman (pictured) was reported to be unconscious. Deputies and members of EMS tended to her. She regained consciousness, but was not coherent. EMS transported her to a local hospital for treatment.

At this point, this woman's name is unknown. A check of her fingerprints do not reveal her identity and she is not answering the questions of hospital staff.

She is described as being in her late 20s to early 30s, 5'6", 135 lbs.

If you have any information about who this woman is, please call or text (559) 649-0363.

Very strange/troubling case. If she's still conscious, is she not talking by choice, or did she suffer brain damage? (If it's by choice, there might not be much LE can do about it.) And if she's conscious, why are they still only posting photos of her with her eyes closed? Surely that would make ID more difficult.

If she was conscious and not wanting to answer questions I think she would have turned her head or closed her eyes, not wishing her picture to be taken. She may be in fear of a domestic partner, or law enforcement or is suffering some sort of trauma related to whatever event took place that rendered her unconscious. The pictures are good quality, even with her eyes closed, I think I would recognize her if I knew her.

Her brows are nicely groomed, lip injections maybe?

I am confused about the details though. If they could clarify whether she is conscious and able to speak that would be helpful.

Yes, her brows are very well groomed and her skin is beautiful, she obviously takes good care of herself. The lips, to me look natural, just full, there's often a decided unnatural look to injected lips hers don't have but maybe I'm just used to seeing some really badly done ones (and there's a lot out there). If she had her brows threaded at a salon in the area, maybe someone there would recognize her.

It sounds like she regained consciousness when the EMTs arrived but was incoherent and when transferred to the hospital refused to answer questions. That's how I read it anyway.

I've seen comments in other places speculate that she has filler; it's possible, but not obvious (she's no Lisa Rinna). The bottom lip looks pretty normal, but the top one looks like she might've been hit.

If she's refusing to talk, who knows why. It could be any number of reasons; I'm not suspecting any in particular. I've seen possibilities from fear of retribution to immigration thrown out there. The one that came to my mind doesn't seem likely at all... I was reminded of the guy that Aaron Hernandez shot in the eye that refused to answer questions at the hospital (although he was mentally lucid and talking physically), and the police just had to leave him be. There are rare cases I've seen where people in hospitals or nursing homes have severe amnesia or brain damage and can't remember who they are. Hopefully that's not the case here.

Immigration has been speculated because she has no fingerprints on file; that's a case where yes, it is true that she wouldn't have fingerprints on file if she were undocumented (just like if she has no criminal record), but no, it's not indicative of anything. Although, the government does try to find just about any excuse to put your fingerprints on file, especially in California. I've spent maybe 3 weeks out of my life in California and they have mine, because they're one of four states that require them for a Professional Engineer's license; I've also had to submit them for a PE in NJ and Pennsylvania (the fourth that requires them is Texas), and in NJ to purchase a firearm.

(It's odd that there was implied consent for a photo while she was asleep, but not while she was awake.)
