I found this while perusing newspapers.com and it broke my heart. I’ve done some light searching for the contributors with no luck.
I explained to my teen, “People used to actually send postcards in the mail to these syndicated columns with their prayer requests written on them! Then, you’d wait and watch for it in the paper! I bet it could take weeks or months!”
She was not impressed. So, I’m sharing here.
