I'm glad they were both found so their families have closure and can lay them to rest. Being a lifelong boater, I'm very curious what happened here but, sadly, I don't think we'll ever know.

I’d like to hear the investigator’s conclusion. I think they may have cell phone data that could help with a final timeline. Clearly there was a mechanical problem, but maybe they learned more from the previously mentioned photos?

My thoughts are with both families, such a tragedy.

The Putnam County sheriff shared what the autopsy results revealed for the couple who went missing on Lake Oconee in February and were later found dead.

Sheriff Howard Sills said the official autopsy reports for both Gary Jones and Joycelyn Wilson list accidental drowning as the cause of death.
