I didn't know anything about this missing person case until I heard local news this evening. One of the accused is from nearby Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Public viewing to be held for Alexis Crawford today
ATHENS, Ga. — A public viewing for slain Clark Atlanta University student Alexis Crawford will be held today in Athens.

Mourners will be able to pay respects at the Hill Chapel Baptist Church from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The church is located at 1692 W. Hancock Ave. in Athens, Crawford's hometown.

The public viewing today precedes a funeral that will be held tomorrow, also in Athens. An overwhelming outpouring of support for Crawford's family led them to move the funeral from its original location to a larger venue, and the public viewing today is expected to draw a large wave of public support as well.

A spokesman for the family, Rev. Markel Hutchins, says the family is asking for gifts or contributions of any kind to be sent directly to Gregory B. Levett & Sons funeral home, which is handling the services.

Why these women blame the other woman for what their boyfriend does...makes me sick! I lost my best friend of 10 years over a man! Her ex-boyfriend at the time (notice the ex in there) happened to see me on a dating site and asked me out. I of course did not reply out of loyalty to my friend, and I told her so out of that same loyalty. BIG mistake...she blamed me for him contacting me. What a mess. Learned my lesson, I will never ever tell a friend, close or not anything about my personal life again. Just doesn't pay.

All caught up! Lucky that I can get into Fulton County court site!

Jones is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 25 and Brantley on Nov. 22.

Actually - according to the court site - they are both in court on 11/21 & 11/22. But I'll keep an eye on the court site to see if that changes for Jones to 11/25.

I hope these two, Jones and Brantley, get their "Just Deserts" served up to them. What a sad case. How the hell do you put a plastic bag over your roommate's/"best friend's" head ( while your molester boyfriend is choking her to death) and watch her life slip away and then load her dead body into a plastic tote and dispose of her? Chilling, just chilling and callous.
