A 46-year-old Jackson County man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly shooting to death his wife and 13-year-old son, according to police.
Marty Glenn Reeves, of Jefferson, was charged with two counts of murder and booked into the Jackson County jail shortly before noon, records show. He was being held Wednesday night without bond. (More at link)

Reeves, 48, entered a guilty but mentally ill plea to two counts of murder last week in Jackson County Superior Court. He was charged with killing his wife, Andrea Lyn Stone Reeves, 42, and their son, Austin Reeves, 13, on June 3 in their home on Gordon Street in Jefferson.
