Andrew Nicholas House, 25, was reported missing Sept. 18 by his father. He is 5-foot-8 and approximately 155 pounds. He was last seen near the gas station at the intersection of highways 211 and 82 around 1:15 p.m. Sept. 16. He was wearing a black Atlanta Falcons T-shirt, a black hat, blue jeans and boots.

GBI Investigating Body Found in Lake

(Winder, GA) On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at approximately 1:10 p.m., a body was discovered in a lake near 2323 Booth Circle in Winder, GA. The body, a white male, appeared to have been in the water for several days. The body was sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur, GA. Identification of the body and the cause of death are pending until further testing at the Crime Lab is complete. Preliminary results indicate foul play does not appear to be involved. The GBI, the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office and the Barrow County Coroner’s Office are continuing this investigation. On October 2nd, 2019, the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a possible body floating in a pond off of Booth Circle in Winder, Georgia. The Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene and confirmed it was a deceased person. The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in reference to the investigation. The body has been taken to the crime lab for an autopsy to be performed to determine the identity of the deceased and the cause of death. This incident is still under investigation and the Sheriff’s Office will not be releasing any more information until the autopsy results have been released.
