Presumed Located GA- Andrew Wesley Dix, 43, Norcross, Gwinnett County, 22 May 2019

The Gwinnett County Police Department needs the public’s help in locating a missing person. On Wednesday, May 22, at around 2 AM, Andrew Wesley Dix (age 43) left his sister’s home on Windscape Village Lane in unincorporated Norcross after an argument. He has not been seen since.

Andrew is a black male, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 180 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. Dix was last seen wearing burgundy sweatpants, a black and grey hoodie, and dark blue high top sneakers.

This isn't the first time he has been missing. He was also missing in 2018:

His sister told police that he typically hangs out at home or the Solo gas station near Beaver Ruin Road and Steve Reynolds Boulevard, but hasn't seen him there.

According to a police report, his sister thought she saw him on Mountain Industrial Boulevard, and she decided to report him missing.

He was arrested in Gwinnett County on 10/21/2019, charges unknown.

I highly suspect that his story came to a tragic end. On July 31, there was an officer involved shooting near me, and the civilian died as a result of his wounds. The responding police department has been very tight lipped, and the local news has shown no interest in the story. In fact, the name of the civilian was not released until today: Andrew Wesley Dix. He is the same age and lives in the same area as the man who was involved in the previous missing person searches.
