The aunt, booked at the jail under the name Katrina Elkins, told The AP and others that her last name was Freeman. Her jail mugshot showed her to be the same woman.

I was just researching her lying about her last name. Guess she gave a fake name because of her other crime. There is a mugshot of her on google images of the crime in Henry County. Looks like her hair is short or she forgot her wig.

What really gets my goat is that this guy killed the baby (obviously) but then also tried to shoot the mother in the head, grazing her ear. I'm not saying he would have been a better person for just shooting mom but &$@&#8364;! Why kill the baby?! It's not like he could have given a description or artist rendering. Cold blooded. Cold. Blooded.

Other than the gang banging talk and threats, I don't see much difference.

and that's why - violence and threats. Plus I bet the language is very dicey as well - not that it matters normally. I had a FB account shut down once - a year or so ago. Bunch of local high schoolers started it about the school and were trashing teachers and making accusations and threats - one email to FB and it was gone. **POOF**

Um, except the baby appeared to be both white and hispanic? I don't see how he is exempt from being charged under this.

Personally, I think when any crime has as its motive..HATE...for any person of any color, creed, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc...that we hould ALL be protected by the same "rapid penalties and rapid Government/justice sysyem response."

Otherwise, in another generation, we will just have to pick new favorites.
