Detectives Probing Death
So, this news piece clarifies some things. They think he may have been transient and may have been murdered (rather than an accident as previously theorized). I wonder if the alcohol bottles present meant he was drinking with someone. Where is the weapon?Atlanta homicide detectives are investigating the slaying of an unidentified man whose body was found last Sunday in a vacant building at 1891 Peachtree Road N.E., Lt. B.L. Neikirk said Tuesday. The case was originally reported as natural death, but police now believe the man died as a result of a beating with a blunt instrument, Neikirk said.
The body, described as that of a white male in his late 20s, was found in an area of that building frequented by transients, Niekirk said.
