Found Safe GA - Autumn Keara Finlay, 21, Butts County, 5 April 2020 *arrest*

Deputies with the Butts County Sheriff’s Office say they believe 21-year-old Autumn Keara Finlay is being held against her will by 20-year-old Cody Bryce Matthews, who is wanted on murder and aggravated assault charges.

According to the department’s Facebook page, Matthews is wanted in connection with a homicide that took place on April 5. They did not provide further details about that case.

No information about a possible vehicle, direction of travel or clothing description has been provided, but a reward is being offered for information on their whereabouts.

Anyone who sees Finlay or Matthews is urged to call 911 immediately.

I'm pretty sure they are, at least 2 of them according to the following MSM article. If you look at her "photos" on her FB page there are numerous pictures of her with a young African American man, including one of him and her at the hospital after she gave birth to one of the kids. She could also be charged with being an accessory to murder. An accessory is distinguished from an accomplice, (who normally is present at the crime and participates in some way.) An accessory must generally have knowledge that a crime is being committed, will be committed, or has been committed. A person with such knowledge may become an accessory by helping or encouraging the criminal in some way which could be emotional, financial, physical assistance, or concealment.

Not advocating to judge a book by its cover, but she doesn’t look like someone who has any clue about the legal ramifications of her current actions. Perhaps LE should start including those potential charges/ consequences in their announcements to motivate her to come forward. Jmo

As I first started to create this thread, I read what the families were saying etc, but posted it as LE intially framed it. It reminded me of Brittany Wall from last year and want this out there to A. bring them home or to justice and B. If a Brittany Wall Doe situation turns out we have this as a book mark unlike before.

It’s possible he’s manipulated her into thinking something else has happened, and it’s still possible she did not go willingly, apparently there’s some footage of him being aggressive with her and that’s why they initially reported abduction. Cell phone records and interviews and possibly other footage might show her position in all of this and I’m sure (hopeful) LE/court proceedings will reflect the truth that shakes out. Moo

Astute observations seeing their age and circumstances, the best we can do is get the word out there. Law Enforcement will handle the rest..
