Sunrise was at 06:30 on that day. In my country sunrise is at 0500 but it is light enough to go outside at 0400.

I wonder if the police are going to revise their first statement that she was dumped in the park but not killed in the park. I just can't envision that she left the park, somebody killed her, then took her body back to the park to steal her car to move it... Hmmmm :thinking:

It's looking like she may have been killed in the park and moved afterwards to another part of the park?

Can we assume the reason they thought she was dumped there and not killed there was because there were no shell casings or blood where they found the body? What other reason would they have other than that, especially if the car did not show any blood?

I hope they scour that park for shell casings, assuming the gun was not a revolver, as who would be able to find a bunch of shell casings in the woods in the dark iykwim.

ETA- Can those bullets be used in a revolver OR an automatic?

I called some ammo places. These bullets can be used in an automatic (which would propel casings out when fired for someone to have to search for on the ground when they shot her if they didn't want to leave evidence to trace to THEIR gun) OR a revolver (which does not propel casings when fired)

In my opinion it is very possible that several camera's may have caught the car on the route to Redan Road. The west end area is a high crime area and the city of atlanta installed camera's in high crime areas to detour crime. The camera's are monitored 24/7 and the department is the Video Integration Unit. I don't know where the camera's are located but imo there should certainly have been one somewhere in that area.

Oakland City Park is not far from several colleges (Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College). Those schools are probably less than 5 miles away. The area is not a safe area at all but I don't find it odd that she may have been hanging out over there because it is packed with college students.
The snapchat image walking through the grass was 10:27pm. Her friend said they were together around 11:30pm when BS got in her car and said she would be right back.
My question is where were they at 11:30pm when BS mentioned she was going to her car? Was the friend in the park with her? I'm sure the police know a lot more than what they have released to the public.

@georgiapeach1 Is it likely that the car could have been caught on more cameras from the highway to where it was found?

It appears to me that one wouldn't be able to get very far on foot from the location where the car was found unless you lived in one of the houses nearby. How often do buses run in the area?

Her clothing and purse were in a wooded area. Could that have been around Stone Mountain? There are a lot of trees there and we did see them searching

There was no blood in the car so this point I don't believe she was in her car at all after being shot.

*Speculation* Could her car have been parked in the car park with somebody saying "Meet me at X place" with BS saying "I'm in the car park. Come here." and the person/s responding "just cut across the grass" Snap said "too pretty to be walking thru grass" EDIT: Is my question even relevant if her friend says they were together at 23:30

There are some street lights in the park and from this image on Google maps there are a couple near the basketball court. I have marked the areas on the image. This is from 2012 so there may be more since the park has been renovated since google maps was last updated. So with the street lights and possible headlights they would have enough light to dump her body. There is also a small parking area nearby so they wouldn't have to carry her far. IMO I don't think she was killed there as you said there are homes in the area that would have heard the gun shots. Clearly she wasn't shot in the car because of the locations of bullet wounds she would have been running from perp.

Afternoon news cast said just that--police may have to change their mind about her just being dumped in the park. I will find the link to back this up as soon as they put it on their website (wsbtv.com) If she was snapping from there during the evening and seen there in the afternoon, she was there a long time. Her mother said she was with her best friend and that evening they were going to a party. Who's party I wonder? I have not seen that info anywhere. They had to have left the park at some point because that twerking video on her instagram was 6:42PMish. So then she went back to the park? and on those RIP bullets...they are easy to obtain. There was an article in the AJC.com that came out in 2014 about these bullets coming to ATL and how gun owners were excited to get them. The stores were over ran with calls. So this tells me many people have them. Since they mushroom when they penetrate the victim, is there a lot of blood? Esp if someone was shot say around 8 times? Lots of blood right? Just wondering where all the blood is? Not at the dump scene and not in her car. Hmmm. JMO.

If they were fast enough Snapchat (SC) does tell you the time the snap was posted in your timezone. However, snaps are only visible for 24 hours before being deleted.

e.g. Route 119 could pick up perp and take them away to so many places with bus or rail transfers (comes every forty minutes) or 116 which comes by every 20 minutes during the week. Yep, they could dump car and take bus/marta . (don't many buses have cameras now?)

Still thinking possibly that the perp lives nearby (e.g. in Mainstreet subdivision which backs up immediately to where the car was found, or Hidden Hills subdivision) due to gang activity in that specific area. :moo: as I lived in one of those two subdivisions in the 80's and early 90's.

Great map! This is what perps here do...they dump cars and jump on Marta. Or they dump cars and run into Apt complex. These two scenarios play like a broken record in ATL. It's like a perp's blueprint for committing crimes. JMO. I think figuring out who she was texting last and who's party she was going to hold the clues. Why couldnt the person just meet her at the party? She had to meet someone real quick? Away from everyone? Jealous boyfriend maybe? One who doesnt want her going to a party? That park is known as a weed smoke spot. They go sit on the tables and smoke out. Maybe someone was dropping off something...just an idea. People mostly go to that park *after it closes* for one reason...to smoke. JMO. *Total Opinion*

One of my friends lived on the cul-de-sac of Lake Watch Drive from the early '90s to 2003, and there were certain houses that everybody knew were gangs and/or drug houses. A guy was murdered in 2011 while he was walking home. It makes perfect sense to me that whoever is responsible for Bridget's murder is somehow connected to the gangs in the Mainstreet area.

When my friend lived on Lake Watch (before Lake Point apartments and the Pinnacle Drive townhouses were built), her brother (about 15 and a normal, constantly hungry teenage boy) would cut through the woods behind the cul-de-sac with his friends to go to Pizza Hut rather than walking all the way up Lake Watch to Mainstreet, then to Hairston, and then to Pizza Hut. There is (or was, at least as recently as 2003) a kind of swampy area behind Lake Watch Drive and Court that fed into Village Oak Lake, so they had to skirt around that. It was quite common for people in the neighborhood to use the woods as a shortcut between their homes and the shopping center, and I'd wager money that it's still commonly used now.

No, I doubt park perp(s) even thought about that. They were just looking to ditch that car far away and quick. Where ever she drove to (to meet them originally) they wanted to make sure her car was NOT found there. Thats my opinion. I think the fact LE is saying zero about her phone speaks silent volumes. I dont disagree on the gang activity or about them going through the woods. Even if people in that area have a clear cut street path to somewhere, they will still go through the woods. I dont know what it is...but thats how they are. You're so right about that. JMO.

Mmmhmm. This service called "Girlie Girls Worldwide" which is a "modeling agency" that may or may not have a decent turnover rate because they may or may not be "REAL". That information is out there. You can search it. It's what her IG is based off of. It's the agency that got her the recent video vixen gig in the rappers video called "Open Fire" (that i wont mention here bc he may or may not be trying to get publicity off her death imo) I refuse. All of these "modeling agencies" cropping up in ATL....they can be seedy. Human trafficking has been known to go hand-in-hand with some agencies. I'm not saying this agency specifically. I fear for who she met up with. But if she was "working" she wouldn't be going to a party with her best friend, right?
