Sunrise was at 06:30 on that day. In my country sunrise is at 0500 but it is light enough to go outside at 0400.

Perhaps you are further north latitude than Atlanta so that there is civil dawn twilight an hour ahead of sunrise?
Sunrise was 6:29 am
Civil twilight was 6:00 am Civil twilight is the brightest form of twilight. There is enough natural sunlight during this period that artificial light may not be required to carry out outdoor activities https://www.google.com/search?q=definition+civil+twilight&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Additionally, the moon didn't rise that day until 3:16 am.
