Per her family's Facebook page, FIND BRITTANY NICOLE STEEN, she was last seen on May 28, not the 21st. The NamUs page was only created on the 29th, but maybe there was a later sighting after she was initially reported missing.

Brittany is our beloved daughter. She is missing and needs help. She suffers from schizophrenic behavior and is deeply mistrusting and paranoid. She was last seen May 28th, 2023 in Marietta GA. A city about 15 miles north of Atlanta. She is very petite and probably down to 115 lbs by now. Any information is appreciated. Contact this FB page , we will soon follow up w a dedicated ph. This appears to be her personal facebook page (consistent with photos on family's page and NamUs). Her last posts there are in March

Based on a LinkedIn profile, her Facebook page, and the Georgia board of nursing site, I believe Brittany is/was a nurse, although if this is her (consistent with age/location/full name/her tattoo), her license lapsed when it failed to be renewed in January 2022. There doesn't appear to be any issues with her licensure (the board will have attached documents relating to substance use, etc.). Her address there is listed as Acworth, which is north of Marietta. The LinkedIn profile lists a job at Peachford, which is a local psychiatric inpatient facility.

Interestingly, a search of Cobb County court records shows that she has active charges relating to theft in October 2022 (I believe a ring from her mother). No judgment, she's obviously going through it right now, but the most recent activity is on June 23, 2023, well after she was believed to be missing. Her attorney waives formal arraignment, with a plea of not guilty, but the document is only signed by the attorney, not by Brittany. So it's not clear if she was present or guiding the attorney at that point. Her address is originally a very nice house in Acworth, then changes to the Crestmont apartments in Marietta by the time she posts bond in November.
