The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Forsyth Fire Department, with assistance from the US Park Service, Johns Creek and Gwinnett Fire Departments and the Georgia State Patrol Aviation Unit, are currently at Chattahoochee Pointe Park off of Old Atlanta Road in reference to a missing 19-year-old male that was last seen late last night running the park trail.

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - Officials said 19-year-old Byron Grogan had was seen running on a trail at Chattahoochee Point Park around 9 p.m. Monday.

"He is an avid Runner and he runs at that time of night because it's so hot during the day. He knows his way around this park very well," Grogan's cousin Terrie Underwood told FOX 5's Portia Bruner.

His family came to look for him when they realized something was wrong around 11pm. His car was here with keys, papers, phone. First report on news this morning was that his personal items were "near the river". To me it seems unclear if his personal items were at the river edge or in his car.
