The victim jumped from the Talmadge Bridge into the Savannah River on June 10th in front of the police. His body was recovered by the Coast Guard two days later.
Based off a couple of factors, I suspect that the UID is Larry McCloud, who went missing from Hardeeville, SC, a few months prior. The distance is ~20 miles, and Mr. McCloud was known to travel frequently between Hardeeville and Savannah. Height and weight are not too far off; only downside is that Mr. McCloud is not listed as having any tattoos.
I have attempted to submit this via NamUs and Doe Network, and have not heard any replies from either department. I'm not a fan of talking on the phone so I've not directly contacted any of the agencies.
This case is not in Namus and the DoeNetwork link is still active, last updated in 2021. This UID had some distinctive tattoos. I wonder if much publicity has been put out, trying to ID him - I couldn't find any MSM.
