She proved for the world to hear just how evil she was and still is.

#MelodyFarris surprised everyone in court when she spoke at sentencing, declaring her innocence and blaming her own son #ScottFarris for the murder of #GaryFarris.

@MattJohnsonNEWS sat near Scott in the gallery and is LIVE with the family's reaction.

I have to say that I've always wondered how MF could have put her husband on the burn pile alone. Thoughts?
She didn't have to have done much of anything. He could already have been in the vicinity of the burn pile trying to get to the neighbors' house. He could have just got grazed by a bullet in the basement.

Melody mentioned the antifreeze in her statement. That wasn't mentioned in the trial, but Gary had been periodically ill before his death. He thought he was being poisoned. And he was a Mountain Dew addict. How convenient.
Melody gave herself away just with this comment on the antifreeze. No one had even mentioned antifreeze!

I agree and have thought the same thing

I am shocked at how many people online believe in her innocence. Many even believe that the judge believes she is innocent and shouldn't have been convicted.

I believe she is evil and I believe she did this.

I've no doubt.

However, I've learned not to be shocked by anything people believe (or claim to believe) online.

IMO, nothing feeds social media like a good old conspiracy theory. Keeps the channel/forum etc churning up views, posts and likes. Invest a little misinformation/suspicion in something that will never be proved one way or another ("it just doesn't make sense"), and the goose will keep laying those golden eggs.

The salacious case, dubbed “The Burn Pile” murder made headlines after jarring details of Melody’s affairs were revealed and gruesome phone calls were caught on tape by the Cherokee County’s Sheriff’s office.
