Metro Atlanta couple charged with child abuse after 6-week-old suffers 29 broken bones

The baby had some newly broken bones and others in different stages of healing.

ROME, Ga. — By the time she was six weeks old, a Rome baby had already suffered 29 broken bones. Now, nearly a year later, her parents are facing child abuse charges.

It's amazing what babies and children can survive. This baby will have long-term psychological trauma from this, too.

In the article above, it states that the children were removed at the time of the ER visit. I think it has taken this long to determine what charges were going to be brought against each parent.

I cn only hope that the child(ren) is/are safe from anyone in this family.
