The Carroll County couple who were the victims of a still-unsolved double homicide were laid to rest Saturday.

I'm in the next county over, and my son's girlfriend lives in Carrollton. Haven't heard a thing :'(

I sort of thought this case would be resolved quickly - whoever killed them, was someone who had been to their home and knew the family.

I thought so, too. The dog(s) didn't bark, or if they did, nobody heard them or didn't pay any attention. The kids didn't hear anything that we know of so far. It just doesn't make sense. Granted, Carrollton is pretty rural for the most part, but it seems like someone should have heard something. And rumors spread fast out here, but there's been nothing.
I hope that this doesn't go cold.

IMO.

With the way that house was laid out, how the killer/s came and went and the rural location. It seems highly unlikely the killer would be a stranger. Seems they were targeted.

The local PD is pretty aggressive in posting on Facebook when they’re looking for information. I would suspect that means they may not feel they actively need tips on this, although that’s kinda tea leaf reading.
