Im just curious still, WHY or HOW did Diane know automatically that Tex shot her? Dani Jo said she said Tex shot me, he fell back asleep while they rush to hospital........WTH.......it's not funny but it's almost laughable from disbelief! Did she FEAR HIM? Did she KNOW something? Was he guilty of something else and he feared her letting the cat out of the bag?

Someone, was it YOU Gasunshine? that said why would you risk it all when you HAVE IT ALL? That makes me question his motives, this was just TOO obvious of course he may be so stupid to think people would bellieve him....idk.........

So maybe they married in 2006 sometime, I guess it's normal to get your Will done especially like someone with an estate like hers/theirs............if he planned this, he surely didnt get in a hurry, it would have looked too bad on him

ON the other hand.............did he marry for money?

Also thoughts about WHY someone who shot their wife accidentally.............would be so quick to get rid of her possessions? What was the goal here? Truly to handle her affairs? what affairs? Was he using the funds to pay off some of her debt? was there any life insurance he received? Or did he simply want her stuff gone? I mean he could have easily sold a condo or the ranch or the lot in GW and ganied enough funds to pay off debts, i would think moreso than selling her personal items as extragavant and abundant as they were?

Did his gun accidentally go off? I guess we have to remember he's innocent until proven guilty......

The fact that TEX wrote her will and talk of a possible second will after that one, easy to say he'd handle it, she probalby never looked at it again and she left out her best friend of 20 years or more, what's that about? This is all too weird still, Did Dani Jo know her friend? Did she really know Tex that well? Did Tex write Dani Jo out of the will and Diane didnt' know?

Was Tex looking for something in her belongings?

Funny you can read something several times and get something different out of it each time

I remember posting and commenting on this before but missed that it DID NOT pass through ANYTHING BEFORE HITTING DIANE IN THE BACK

downward was my concern, if they were in an element i can see that becuase the back seat sits up higher like a booster seat............they were in a ford suv so his hand had to be higher than his lap for it to point and shoot downward

also..........i am sure i saw a bullet hole in the seat.............so is this report saying it didnt pass through the seat or a plastic bag and that he simply shot her in the back? He would have had to lean forward and so would she unless he slipped his hand down behind her, dani jo wasn't paying attention to what he was doing, he was quiet she said............BUT DIANE WAS QUOTED AS SAYING, MY HUSBAND SHOT ME (IN ANOTHER article, i've commented and wondered why she said that, how'd she know for sure??)

Maples has said the bullet traveled through the seat, and he has shown this reporter pictures of the seat, with a hole in the front and back. On Wednesday, he said the seat was so soft that it did not offer enough resistance to deflect the bullet or change its travel.

I can picture the gun placed at the back of the seat fro the right hand pointing downward

I think she'd have been shot in the butt or maybe not at all if he'd been sitting back with gun loosely held and it accidentally went off adn it was a revolver, he sure doesn't know how to handle a gun, even I know not to keep your finger on the trigger or fall asleep holding the darn thing

This is confusing....how did a whole get in the seat, coroner says not, it passed thru nothing adn teh bullet is missing which would tell for SURE if the bullet went thru the seat to hit diane in teh back OR if he leaned forward adn stuck the gun her back and fired the fatal shot.......at anyr rate, Tex took teh bullet, no one would even think abuot that bullet but him while all the commotion was going on...........the bullet passed back to front, right to left and downward,could his arm fit thru the right opening front seat and door, that would give a back to font, right to left and downward track.....and she said, my husband just shot me...........................and felt the gun in her back or side

There is another mystery: The fatal bullet. The medical examiner's report shows there were "No projectiles identified from Diane's body." So what happened to the bullet?

"We don't know where the bullet is," said reporter Natalie Rubino. "Tex McIver's attorney says they don't have it. And Atlanta Police say they can't confirm or deny that they have it. So how did he shoot her in the back from behind unless he reached around passenger seat by door and shot, No he is not that crazy is he, my goodness he is too old to even think deviously, he should be checking his blood pressure and praying she stays with him to get him to dr apps and care for him in his older days to come, those are closer than being able to dance the night away. He is to old to try to deviously scheme for anything, he should have been praying she would stay with him to get him to health care apps and take care of him in his older age instead of trying to plan to dance the nights away. Yeah I think this guy is a piece of work, SOME REASON the detectives think she had a "SECRET WILL" and Im wondering if the sale of her things so suddently was to find it, maybe he found out about it, something was going on with the two of them behind closed doors adn no one else knew it I bet ......................also interesting how much in common this case could potentially have witht the Dermonds...in putnam county.....I dont know who killed them but his head is missing and speculation is that it was to conceal evidence of a gunshot, that would be 2 bullets missing, Mr Dermonds and Diane McIvers...............yeah he leaned forward, and the drive had no clue........I dont know if the DA has it or fulton deputies or not, you konw how they like to make people think or not think somethign LOL while investigating...If he directly shot her in teh back, I hope they have the bullet but if not, not sure it would help, we already know he shot her.................poor woman, so sad!

Lawdog, that's what I was thinking too, WHAT did he want? His loan was due, did you see the material things this woman had? Maybe he thought she spends too mcuh....YOU KNOW he was going to retire at the end of 2017, then he shot her and retired at the end of 2016 as originallyplanned..........maybe he couldnt afford her nor the $350k to repay her. IIRC, I read that in a newspaper article or it was in one of the video broadcast, I will look back for it.
