Monroe County Sheriff seeks help to find man missing since last week​

The Sheriff's Office said Douglas Lawson, 66, was last seen on August 30 when someone dropped him off at Larry's Bait and Tackle near High Falls Lake.

• He is 5'4" tall and weighs 145 lbs.
• Last known to be wearing a blue pull-over, blue jeans and a camouflage hat.
• Lawson has a history of mental and physical health issues.

A missing Monroe County man was found dead Tuesday, according to a Facebook post from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

They say Douglas Lawson, 66, was the subject of a BOLO on Sept. 1, and was found dead two days later.
