Only four were identified as potential human trafficking. The rest were runaways and child custody cases.

I can imagine this to be the case on a lot of these recoveries because I don't know any of our cases solved by these recoveries. It's always good though to read that children have been found or rescued.

Yes, I totally agree. I just feel that this is misleading. On reading the headline most people would think that they were all abducted children for trafficking and that is not the case.

Especially when there are conspiracy theories out there, IMO this kind of thing may feed them.

Yes, that was my point. I have seen plenty of these kind of articles and comments vindicating Qanon conspiracies.

These reports always kill me, because they never solve any missing persons cases. How are so many innocent children disappearing?
These operations are started to find children under the care of CPS that they cannot locate. Apparently, they also find a few suspects and 1-2 children, too.
