I have read most of the post in this thread and I really want everyone to know that these were caring people who died for imo no good enough reason. My daughter was friends with the youngest daughter Michelle. Michelle was a real friend... She did not have any " fake " friends and she had a warm heart. This has effected a lot of kids who went to school with her everyday and now when she is not there it hurts.

Welcome Caliborn!! Thank you for posting this. I, too, believe it is important to not bash those who have perished because we do not know most of the info. Not only not to bash those who lost their lives but to not bash Guy Jr. I personally believe he was not involved and they are only keeping him to protect him. I'm sorry for your daughters loss over her friend. Along with the families the friends of those who have passed are in my prayers. If there are any stories about Michelle please post because I would love to hear how she was a great person while she was on this earth. :blowkiss:

I was watching FoxNews last night and on Studio B with Shepard Smith he had the reporter for the Georgia stories for the Jacksonville news and it was reported that Rusty Toler was supposed to be in court today because of an eviction case regarding the New Hope Plantation evicting him because he did not obey the rules of the park regarding all the people who lived in the house. There is not a link but just thought I would throw this in.

There is not a link but just thought I would throw this in.

Mr. Toler seemed to be a man with a kind and loving heart who could turn no one away that needed a place to stay. I know the south like other states has a high rate of unemployment now, more than the national average. Many are struggling.

No matter what, these victims didn't deserve to be slaughtered, including defenseless women, teenagers and a small child.

Whomever did this or partook in this or has knowledge of this crime and refuses to tell are horrible human beings that need to be found and dealt with in the stiffest punishment allowable by law.

I remember the day that all of the Alday family was slaughtered one by one. It was the worst multiple murders in Georgia ever and they too were good hard working people that were bothering no one.

Now this case brings all of that horror back to life knowing now that in this case 8 were murdered and one trying to hang on to life.

I pray that the police agencies get the break they need.

Something the property owner hopes calms residents fears is a new reward. The property owner for New Hope Plantation is offering an additional $10,000 for any information leading to arrest and conviction of anyone responsible.

That brings the total reward now to $35,000.

I agree completely. Any story that is out there talks about how Rusty would help anyone even though it seems as if he needed help himself since there are reports of him being somewhat poor. I read that if someone ever needed to stay there he would make sure there was room. This is why I truly believe the intended target was Guy Jr. over some drugs. Now that the reward has been raised I believe that, if this was over drugs and money, that someone will crack because when it has to do with a ruthless drug dealer and/or user that's a ton of money for more drugs. People always rat out other people when it comes to drugs.

Nothing could ever justify what has happened to these 9 people.

I do not know who did this or why but imo I think they may have all paid because maybe one or two in the family may have been doing things they shouldn't have been doing. It seems they were murdered simply because they were there in the home that fateful morning. What could a 3 year old child have done to deserve this or a DS child or a teenage girl? Did they do this to eliminate all witnesses that they knew could identify them?

So many questions.

I hope you and your community soon has the answers and even then I am not sure it will bring you any peace.

I certainly hope you are right, Coley. If it is drug related then that can be a good thing in one way for LE because if they round any of them up usually they will spill the beans trying to get themselves out of being arrested by LE. I hope they are singing like a canary.

I believe they all paid with their lives and one left clinging to life because of one person's dealings that lived there. Someone in that family knows who brought this monster or monsters right into that home.

I am thinking since this is a small county they may call each case one by one. Court may start @ 9:30 but he may not see judge till hour later pending his number in line. JMO, I'll look around and see if I can find anything.

I believe this is the case too. I think if he hasn't already, which I'm sure he has, that he can list some people he had dealings with.

What I find interesting is that the day or two afterwards LE was kinda iffy in characterzing about Guy Jr. involvement but now that he has a lawyer and the lawyer has stated he had nothing to do with it now LE is saying he isn't a suspect.

Just a couple of weeks ago my family and I were out running around for different things we had to pick up for the kids for school when we ran into Michelle and her family. My daughter and Michelle ran up to each other and gave each other a hug. The girls spent a few minutes talking then we went our different ways.
About a hour later we all saw each other again and the girls did the same thing and we all laughed cause they had just seen each other earlier that day.
After a few laughs we all went our separate ways. A few minutes later Michelle walked back in the building that we were in and said "hey do you think your parents can give us a jump start? We left our lights on. ( as I have done several times). We said no problem and went on out. It was Michelle, Chrissy, Joseph (Chrissy's boyfriend), Byron (Chrissy's son) plus one other woman but for the life of me I can't remember who she was

We all laughed and talked and made fun of each other and leaving lights on. Joseph actually kind of calmed me down because a lady there who was parked beside the disabled truck was upset that she was blocked in .. I kept telling her I was sorry and would move my van if she needed me to but she just kept ignoring me .. finally she left and Joseph turned to me and said "Don't worry about her .. some people are like that, just grumpy" "You can't make everyone happy" then we went about the business of getting their truck started .. they left and we left. That was the last time that I personally had contact with the family but of course my daughter saw Michelle at school everyday .. including Friday .. Our daughter, Michelle and another friend all gave their silly little hugs after school and said .. the 'love you's' and SEE YOU MONDAY ... these girls are not shy! and both girls are very glad that they did see Michelle and were able to give hugs and love you's one last time ....

Except, of course, there are no report of escapees.

Joseph West has arrests for cocaine and probation violation re: cocaine, and Guy Heinze Jr is under arrest for possession of controlled substances. LE may have more info about the background of Heinze than we know. IMO this is a drug dealer out for revenge.

Well I know there are no reports of escapees but a whole family was wiped out and they didn't know who did it until some ratted the rest out.

I too agree, like I have been saying, that it's drug related.

Yes, I remember that day vividly and also that it took 30 years to execute the gang leader, Carl Issac. He was allowed to live on the taxpayers' dime longer than some of their victims got to live.

And there were no drugs involved. Just plain natural born evil killers.:furious:
