Freddy Seth Morgan is from Cartersville. He was last seen on the morning of May 24 in Emerson, Georgia. Morgan worked at the ZEP facility in Emerson. Morgan is described as being 5-feet-11-inches tall with black hair and brown eyes.

The Sheriff's Department has scheduled a media briefing for Thursday at 10a. Otherwise, there is really no news, though it is weird to me that the GBI is involved. It may be nothing, but it doesn't seem like they usually get involved this early unless there's a specific reason.

Police have released the last known images of a 30-year-old man who disappeared weeks ago.

Seth Morgan was last seen at a Bartow County McDonald's on May 24. Surveillance video from that day appears to show him waiting in line, wearing a blue sweatshirt.

Channel 2's Lauren Pozen was in Bartown County, where Morgan's parents spoke at a press conference and asked for the public's help to find their son.

It sounds like Freddy Seth Morgan went to his cousin's house. Never seen after that. Nobody at the cousin's house has anything to say about this? They know he was there, but they don't know what happened to him.

Officials identify human remains as those of missing Bartow County man

BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. - Police confirm to Channel 2 Action News that human remains found near Euharlee are those of a missing Bartow County man.

The investigators organized several searches of areas and did not locate any evidence of foul play. On Aug. 25 just after 11 a.m., workers cleaning up brush at 251 McCormick Road near Euharlee found human remains and called 911.

After recovery, the remains were confirmed to be Seth Morgan by the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office. Investigators are awaiting testing and examination results to determine a cause of death, but at this time no foul play is suspected.
