Has SM been named a suspect or POI by LE?

Has SM been named a suspect or POI by LE?
We have not heard from LE or the media since October 5th.

Not a word and I don't imagine that we ever will. This is small town police, sadly most crime investigations are not ever solved by Cartersville or Bartow PD.

Residents will tell you story after story about someone being killed and nothing was looked into.

For instance a victim that was found shot, with no gun at the scene and it was ruled a suicide... and you think to yourself huh???

Heather was missing and LE let her husband take the car. How would she have gotten home had she returned??? At first, I think they just said come get the car and left it at that. I don't even know who actually reported her missing or when.

I also don't know who's idea it was to have the candlelight vigil @ the Courtesy Inn Saturday night October 8th @ 7:30, but the turn out was poor.

I imagine MOST people, including Heather's friends would not want to go to that place for ANY reason. I dont know why it wasnt held where the farmer's market and many other city activities are normally held.

Where would you rather attend a vigil?
From what I understand her friends have there own Facebook site for Justice for Heather that is private.
That is why it seems like she has no friends just in case anyone was wondering.

No. So we can't really talk about him. He is still a victim of her missing.

I don't think there is a POI named at this time.

You can check out the Cartersville topix forum and read all bout it. Pretty sad really.

It is listed as:
"Why is there so many unsolved murders in Bartow County?"

It seems to be very quiet. :(

Just another thought...
I wonder if Heather thought possibly she wasn't good for her daughters at this time in her life for whatever reason...and maybe she chose to leave and make it appear to be an abduction...in case she decides later to come home and so her daughters will think Mom's leaving was not by choice.

I just don't know what to think anymore and it is very quiet. I guess it is time to catch up on other missing cases.

Yeah, after seeing each picture, I'd skip on the vigil held at the inn. I wouldn't even want to leave my car there while I helped search.

Honestly, if she put that much thought into staging her own disappearance, I would think she'd come up with a way to make herself get better for the girls. Moo.
Admittedly, I have no idea what her mindset was/is.

After reading on the various online sites I really have a sinking feeling this is not a case of a runaway mom under too much stress. The chatter out there is painful like nails scraping a chalkboard. (On many levels)

If the GBI and FBI are involved at this point why are there no updates. Not even a press release of some sorts?

There does not seem to be a panic of any kind as if this was a random act and there is a serial killer on the streets. So it leads us to believe this was a planned and targeted event or that she left on her own free will (which I do not believe she left of her own free will).

This one occurred to me while driving this morning. I have gone back and forth on the who's(no poi stated) and why's presented here and elsewhere. ..maybe it is lack of information almost a month later.

I have thought...one of my many thoughts way back when the GBI and FBI was brought in that this could involve a higher up key player to do with the drugs in Carterville's. ...and possibly trafficking.
Just moo as I really don't know.

Someone mentioned Heather's pinterest which seems she was kinda sad.
...but I am sure mine shows me as a crazy mess with bad thoughts!

Something doesn't feel right with this case. From the missing poster "no scars other than stretch marks from her three beautiful daughters". Why put that on the flyer, it is not a good identifier? Hmmmm....

I agree with you. The GBI/FBI would not likely be involved if they thought this was just a case of a runaway mom with a drug problem. A legal adult who left on her own accord, free to do as she wishes. They are staying tight lipped for a reason, in my opinion.

Yep, it was like someone was expecting her to be found dead. That's the only time you might tell someone she has stretch marks-- to identify her body.
It's also a back-handed compliment--it's so condescending, IMO. I want to say more, but I'll restrain myself. :silenced:

Yeppers, I agree. You said it better. :-)

ETA: I feel a body image issue at play here, originating from the male to the female. JMO

Strange comment indeed, never seen such a description on a missing poster. As if all she was ever good for was having babies... yeah, I'm just gonna hush too.
