Makes me sick they're trying to make a book out of this; I don't care if John Mason "writes" it, we need to quit glorifying and rewarding peoples' criminal behavior.

John is "very interested" in the book deal and likely to sign a contract. The book would be about forgiveness and redemption.
Sure it will...sucker!!

I haven't had a chance to watch any news on this case. I thought they had a warrant out to arrest her. Shows how much I have been catching on.

As for a book deal.. OH BRUTHA!!

I don't think she's pretty at all. In fact I think she's kinda homely. That being said, I have a very small bit of sympathy for her situation as it'll be hard to overcome the noteriety.

Well, a book will serve to increase that.

Perhaps John is hoping to earn enough money on the book deal, to pay for Jennifer's restitution, probable fine, and also to cover the cost of her attorney. Wouldn't any "good Christian" do the same??? (Tongue in cheek).

Pretty soon he's going to be going on "The Bachelor". (the Celibate Season)

I'm sure he's going to be suffering alot over his "loss" of Jennifer. Somehow he'll forgive and carry on.....

Mostly the gossip is that he is forgiving but will continue his own life sans Jennifer. I repeat.....gossip! No links just water cooler kind of stuff from a relative. I wouldn't trust everything I hear......

I would have loved to have seen his face when he read the libidinous police report.

I would say that gossip might be a safe bet.

I'll kind of go with the flow on this. Being I am from the country and I have seen first hand the house changes from 3 weeks ago to now....I have been a drive by....not a stalker but a drive by....I tend to agree. Haven't posted all my info for fear of being attacked but my eyes are pretty good. My hearing isn't exceptional but my reading ability is astute. So, bash me me if you want to. Not you, Marthatex, I know you would never do that. But others who don't really like the truth!

If you re-checked the blog after 5 p.m. ET on Thursday night, you will know that I posted that John Mason is expected to sign a book deal very soon. He hopes Jennifer will participate in the book and the plan now, subject to change I suppose, is that it will be about forgiveness and redemption. John was flown to New York City last weekend to discuss the book with the publisher. John is anxious to do the book but I assume he is waiting for the right contract. More than one publisher has shown strong interest.

After learning about the book early last evening, I exchanged e-mails with an FOX News producer about John Mason. The producer was one of many who spent many days in Duluth, Georgia covering the story. The producer had just spoken to John Mason and had asked him whether the marriage is "on" or "off." Here is the producer's e-mail to me:

E-mail No. 1 — producer's e-mail to me:

Also asked him whether she still had the ring on her finger... "Well, I gave it to her... Dunno about being on her finger now... If she's wearing it."

I don't know why, but I would never have believed a publisher would be interested in this story.

I don't see where there's enough material for a book here! But, it's never stopped anyone before...gotta cash in before the public's interest wanes, I guess.

I know there's been criticism that the public and media are keeping this "non-story" alive, but if Mason and/or Wilbanks are talking book deals, well...they're not exactly doing their part to help this die down, are they?

I know it shouldn't surprise me, but somehow it still does.
