That is cancelled or something.. LKL is Prince William tonight

Ahhhh well I think I have some socks that need mending. That would be much more entertaining than watching Jennifer.

She'll probably say something like "you'll have to buy my book to get the answers"

After you have shelled out $$$ for her book (I won't, you won't, but somebody might), the book will give the classic answer "I dunno why I did it, I'm sorry and thank you for lining my pocket).

I'm not watching her interview either, nor will I waste my time with her movie or anything else she does. *yawn*

Count me "in" for one who refuses to watch this, as well. I just don't get it. I refuse to support such a thing. I know lil' ol' me doesn't make much of a difference to Katie and NBC, but I can sleep tonight knowing I didn't let my curiosity get the best of me. (But....I'll be anxious to read here on WS tomorrow morning, everyone's take on it  )

And no, no buying of her book or watching a Lifetime movie, etc. of this. It makes me sick that she's making $ off of such an assinine (sp?) stunt. If I was in GA, I'd be stark-raving mad....Just my O...

I've got it on in the other room and y'all ain't missing much! She's got her hair and makeup all done up, fiance with a nice suit on, both sucking up the fame.

Sounds like she just said she originally went to Austin Texas to find Matthew McCoughey! :bang: She is defintely a few fries short of a happy meal. ;)

Reminder that Jennifer Wilbanks talks to Katie Couric tonight on NBC at 8 pm Eastern.

I watched all I could of that interview. When she did the fake crying...I had to make my exit. It gave me a "Susan Smith" flashback.

I hope this young lady is getting lots of help for the apparent mental problems she does seem to have.

She sure is trying to make it seem like she's close to tears, but it seems very hollow and fake to me. Fiance seems like a good guy. I'm watching it because I want to know if she's getting a movie deal and I'm assuming that my watching it isn't lining her pockets as if I were buying a book of hers or something. Anyway, in a nutshell, she "panicked" and ran. She thought about suicide, had a bottle of pills, but decided "not to play God that day."

She says she cut her hair because she didn't want to be found, not because she wanted it to look like someone attacked her. She says that she made up the story about being kidnapped only AFTER finding out that it had become such a massive search, she felt "cornered" into giving some sort of reason and she didn't have one.

She said she's always been a perfectionist. Katie's grilling her on an actual diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, etc... and her comeback was, "we're not supposed to put labels on it". :boohoo:

Fiance says he might want to become a preacher some day. She's getting psychological treatment. They "hope to" get married "some day". Earlier in the interview she mentioned that she wants to be a mom (scary!).

"I hope that people will allow me to learn who I truly am. I hope that as I go through this healing process and start learning about myself and love myself for who I am, then everyone else will too, then I will no longer be the runaway bride."

Sorry, but after hearing her try to sound like she's about to cry in this interview, but seeing no actual tears or lip-quivering, I STILL think she's a fake and I hope no movie or book deals come her way!!

So, OK, what was the "life or death" issue that night? She wanted to kill herself but decided it would be better to go after Matthew McConnahey? OOOOOkaaay.

Old John, I think, kind of enjoys being on TV.

SORRY TO BURST YOUR BUBBLE SIESIE...... :(
she's been paid $500,000.00 already from an "advance" for a book deal.
That's why she's doing these interviews. What a friggin' loser. :bang:

I refused to watch. I think it is horrible that she is making money off this. I think back to how upset her mother was -- and what the media put him through and there is NO WAY in H---- she should be paid.

She is so fake I could barely even watch it!!!!

He should be running as fast and far away as he can!!!!

Matthew McCoughey???????? For real???? Did she really say that, or was it a joke? I cant watch, I am at work! I would watch if I could though, kinda like the accident scene you cant help BUT watch.

I just happened to find this post and haven't had time to read all of the comments, so forgive me if this has been said. What kind of message is this Jennifer sending out to those who may be contemplating a quick way to get rich? I can see more people will be "crying wolf", especially if they can profit from it w/ a movie. Just think of all the wheels turning in disfunctional brains right now as they try to come up w/ their own "Jennifer Wilbanks" story on their quick road to fame.

Obviously just my opinion . . . . .

This interview was a joke and that girl is laughing all the way to bank IMO. I saw no real remorse for her actions or heard no plausable explanation for her actions....

what a joke this interview was. I thought of Susan Smith and Scott peterson when she tried to shed a tear with a goofy smile on her face. I have to wonder what kind of illness the shrink said she has.

What a decision, take the pills and die or pretend I am kidnapped. Whose pills were they? What a loser!

FIGURING SINCE SAVESCOTT was here, that I could put this here too.

GO PEOPLE! She needs to be stopped from profitting. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

PS: this is not my site.... some journalist or radio host set it up to collect ALL the expenses that were incurred during her "kidnapping". They do NOT intend to profit from this AND WILL DONATE remainder of monies to charities.
