
Search for missing 85-year-old man expands to Florida from Decatur County
Jerry Dooling who disappeared sometime around Veterans Day is considered a missing endangered person because he’s known to battle dementia.

Decatur County Sheriff’s Office searching for missing elderly man
The 85-year-old was last seen at the S&P Truckstop on Veterans Day.
85-year-old Jerry Dooling was last seen driving a black 2021 Honda Pilot with a Georgia tag reading EMH232, according to a post by the sheriff’s office.
He was last seen at the S&P Truckstop on Veterans Day. He may be headed to the Panama City Beach area.
He
is considered a missing endangered person because he’s known to battle dementia.
Wendell Cofer, chief deputy for Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, said he isn’t ruling out any locations between Georgia to Florida where Dooling may have gone.
