Our Porter walks around the property looking for trash not driving. And it is a huge property. So, don't know. Maybe he was looking for trash. And where did you read about dog poop and cig butts? I have not heard that. ty

It's a review of apartments...
BRB... I'll find it :)

Supposedly, from what I have read reported, her 1 and 4 yr old little sisters were at the park with the teen babystter. I think the babysitter focused on the two little ones and let the 7 yr old go about her business. Sadly. :rose:

I heard (at the same time I heard the four year old was at the playground), that he babysitter was inside with friends. I remember because it stuck with me - why would you leave a four year old alone at all. Gotta love a media that jumps the gun and never retracts.

I had read that the babysitter left for a bit but returned. So I think she probably asked Jorelys to watch the little ones and went to her friends for a little, then at some point, returned, to find JR had left to get drinks.

to further confuse the issue of the dumpster, I have read many varied descriptions of why they did not find her within in their initial check of the dumpster. The understanding I came to was that some or all of the trash within the dumpster had been compacted and therefore, remains were not readily identifiable within til the dumpster could be removed to another location and the contents sifted through carefully.

I am not sure of the make of model of the dumpster used or how its compacting feature works. If the compacter is simply run periodically when the dumpster appears to be filling, then there could have been compacted waste toward the bottom and then non compacted waste towards the top (more recently tossed in).

Does anyone know anything about dumpsters with compactors and how that all works exactly? Any help with that may help us understand the inconsistencies regarding the initial dumpster searches.

I have a question. Does anyone have the screen shots of RB's FB page before it was deleted?

There is something that I read there that is really bothering me and I have no way to confirm what my memory is telling me. If anyone does have the screen shots, please PM me and I will let you know my concern and you can look for it for me if you are willing to do that.

Thanks.

I am quoting my own quote so I can post it again. Hopefully someone has the screen shots. This is really bugging me and I think it could be important.
thanks.

Does anyone else find it odd the complex manager hasn't made a statement or even offered condolences?? Maybe I missed it??

It was 2005. Her estranged husband Quentin Ray killed her and his father helped him hid the body in the woods. Her minivan found in the Canton Walmart parking lot...

Sorry I had to to run out on youu georgiagirl. My grandson needed a ride, then we got sidetracked. I do remember something about this, but not details. I was in transition then, long story. :waitasec:

The neighbor Heather, said last night on NG they had checked the dumpster numerous times. That is why I asked earlier if they had checked the vacant apartment.
All I can think of is LE really didn't check it or real well or her little body was put in there after the police checked it?I don't know.

A court date for an arraignment has not been set. David Cannon Sr., one of Brunn's court-appointed attorneys, said his client will enter a "not guilty plea" at the appropriate time.

David Cannon, Jr. for Solicitor General:
"I wouldn't wish a crime like this upon any community. It leaves scars that are a long time in healing. That being said, I am proud of the work all of our law enforcement has done. The GBI, Canton PD and Cherokee County Sheriff's Department have all done an outstanding job.

I know that Garry Moss and the rest of the Cherokee County District Attorney's Office will do equally an outstanding job making sure Jorelys' killer is brought to justice".

I think there is one of two things going on there. We have heard that the son of the manager is RB's friend and room mate and got him the job.

I think it could be two things. 1, maybe the son and his parent were suspicious of RB and they went to LE themselves. They may have given some incriminating info even. If so, they may have left the area, with LE's blessing, while the arrest went down.

OR, they are just hiding out and may be involved or have a connection somehow. I think if that were true we would have heard more about that. I am sure that LE was all over the room mate in the beginning at least.

I'm sure they have some concrete evidence, or they wouldn't have arrested him. How many other missing children are there right now that we know who did it, but because of lack of evidence, they have not been arrested?

As for the dumpters, (compactors) usually have an end door that opens that you put the trash in. When it gets to certain level, it has to be compacted. Most push it from the door to the back. They usually have a scheduled pick up as they need to be taken off property and emptied. I wouldn't be surprised if this one was scheduled for Monday, hence his checking on it on Sunday night.

Where I work, they bring in an empty one and take away the full one.

A spokesman with McCormack Baron Ragan, Inc., which manages the River Ridge at Canton apartment complex, said Brunn was hired on Nov. 7 and that it’s standard procedure that any employee would be placed on immediate administrative leave pending the outcome of the trial.

Burn also said Brunn, like all of the company’s employees, underwent an extensive background check and no criminal history surfaced.

“The entire management family extends its utmost sympathy and prayers to the family and friends of Jorelys Rivera and all the residents of River Ridge apartments in Canton, Georgia,” according to a statement from the company.

“Our local property support staff at River Ridge is providing all possible assistance to investigators. We are supporting and working with the community residents in response to this tragedy. We have initiated a process of employee and residence assistance which includes independent professional counseling and related support.”
