Listen, fellow posters. Sorry I mentioned the comment from FB about KMart ! I noted in my original post it was something from FB (not from MSM or LE) and that we identified this early on during our FB searches once we found out POIs name . . . also, there are people supporting Ryan & lots of information is out there if you search.

That's what I do, search.

I search as well, I just don't give a lot of credence to people who call themselves "friends" on FB. Many people I know have hundreds of friends on FB who just love and adore them, but wouldn't know them if they were in the same elevator. I think the value in FB is finding out what the suspect was thinking and doing before and at the time of the murder.

No, there is a software glitch. There is no page 11. It is a ghost page. lol

I hope there are video cameras at KMart. LE said they believe Jorelys was murdered at 6:30 pm so if it's true Ryan was at KMart not Walmart then he didn't kill her.

Why in the world do you keep insisting RB was at KMart? Facebook is not GBI or any type of LE. I think this remark is a rumor that should not be on Websleuths, IMO.

I really wish we had more information on RB too...I think it's hard for a lot of us to believe a 20 yr old is capable of such a horrible crime. But it does look bad (at least to me) that NONE of his family have come (in person) to his defense.

Wasn't a gag order put upon both families the Fri after she was found? Also, I thought I read that his family was advised NOT to come to court that day for their own safety.

To the best of my knowledge that statement came from one of RB's brothers, not LE. We do NOT know what LE told them. Personally, I have not seen LE tell family not to come to a court setting. I don't believe the brother's statement.

I'm sorry, I'm not much help...I have no idea if a gag order was put on both families.

But IMO, I do think at least RB's mom would say something if she thought he was innocent..KWIM?

I honestly doubt there is much in the "diary". I have two girls who were both 7 in the last 4 years, and they both had diaries..it was little drawings, I love my family, my sister is mean, Dear Santa I want a puppy.. mostly misspelled attempts at very child like themes..not only my kids, but of all their friends and all my friends who also have kids I have NEVER heard of a first grader with an "older boyfriend"..kids this age think anyone out of their grade is a baby, and anyone older is a big kid..there is not much intersex mixing outside of siblings at this age..this is FIRST GRADE we are talking about, not a 13 year old who will write about crushes and family problems...boys are "yucky" until at the least fourth of fifth grade... I understand that children this age can be molested, or can engage in "doctor" play etc. with close relatives or friends, but to be in first grade and having a "secret older (consensual) boyfriend" seems like a far-fetched idea to me.

I also believe LE was all over the family and would have zeroed in quickly on any neighborhood claims of mistreatment by babysitters or abuse. I believe the one mistake in this family was that the children were allowed way too much freedom for their ages, there was not sufficient supervision, but I wouldn't by any means consider these to be neglected or abused children...IMO when you see this type of lack of supervision and it is in her own neighborhood, when the family moved apartments in the same complex in order to have a ground floor closer to the playground (that was mentioned in MSM earlier link), I think the problem is the family felt a false sense of security and was even naive, but I do not think this is abuse or neglect in any way.

I know Jorelys's teacher would have noticed if Jorelys was being physically assaulted by her primary caregivers before she was murdered so that's why I think Jorley's upcoming visit with her father caused the violence because the mother felt rejected.

There are both a KMart and a Walmart about 3 miles away from River Ridge Apts. The Walmart is much bigger, newer, and has better inventory, and even though it is the same distance as the Kmart, the Walmart is an easier and more direct trip. I am sure some people pick Kmart over Walmart, like people who have no transportation and live right next to Kmart...but the whole think is fishy. How'd that one go? "I was at Walmart".."We have checked the tapes, you were not at Walmart." then the friends on FB say "well, he was at KMart." Not buying that...
I am sure there are videos at KMart and would have been checked if he (not his fb friends) said he was there, and then he would have an alibi for some of the time...maybe the guy did go to Walmart or Kmart that day, maybe he went earlier in the day...maybe he went the previous day...but if he had a real solid provable alibi for the time of the abduction/murder, he wouldn't have forgotten what it was when being quesitoned by police.

Are you seriously suggesting that the mother, a victim, raped, beat and stabbed repeatedly her daughter because she was going to visit her father?

Putting that aside, respectfully, I will ask you to please provide a link that states definitively that Jorelys was travelling to PR by herself, without her mother or other family members, and that further states the mother did not want Jorelys to go.

Okay, it was Walmart not Kmart and unless his lawyer pulls a rabbit out of a monkey's axx, I'm filing that info from FB you know where. RB is still sitting in jail and will be charged, no doubt. Holidays don't help a court schedule so we will have to wait. An older boyfriend is just not plausable for a girl her age if trying to discount RB as the perp, it's actually quite too far fetched to believe. Where did the mom feeling rejected come from?

There's not going to be much of a defense if Jorelys body had his dna on it in anyway, shape or form, and from the article of the internal affairs investigation, it sounds like he was so extremely messy, he deserves to be proven guilty for being so "catch me if you can" about her torture and death. If he was the maintenance man with the deputy and others in that apartment, that might be his nail in the coffin.

I do want to say I think he's been doing this for quite a while or thinking about it heavily. There might be some history in his juvie records that might reveal his mindset. The family moved a few years ago, why? This info & more will be coming out eventually due to a trial (wish he'd plead guilty and save everyone the horrible story) and the Sunshine Law kicks in, that works differently than FL's Sunshine Law we saw in Casey's case. Well, the part about 1st time offenders documents being withheld & no public online info really. (grrr again)

Please it's not Kmart over Walmart, the law isn't going to hold him past tomorrow if that were true without solid evidence and frankly after reading around, I feel some comments on sites insulting my intelligence in regards to his innocense. I haven't convicted him, all fingers are directed at him, and if there were any truth to Kmart, I'd think someone would have spoken up by at least last week. I can hear a pin drop & his attorney isn't discounting his Walmart claim. mo

eta, I do feel for the family very much. I can't imagine their disbelief that RB has done something so horrendous. Prayers for Jorelys family & friends, and prayers for RB's family to help them through all of this.

I hope you never learn who I really am or you'll have me convicted of
stealing from stores (I was a retail store manager), kidnapping children (I've been on this board for many, many years following tons of cases and have speculated alot), offing a child abuser, and causing multitudes of car accidents (impatience for slow poke drivers on various Atlanta highways).

I need real evidence that RB did this. I'm not saying he's innocent, I just can't jump on the 'hang him now' bandwagon. I want to know that JR's blood was found on his clothes, in his apartment, or his dna was on her. I could convict him if he made damning statements to LE, but I can't say he's guilty because he made a comment to a neighbor when another kid was missing. I'm thinking that any one of us would have said something like that to her being the sleuthers that we are. Wouldn't it be sad if someone dragged him into an empty building in NY and molested him as a child?

Basically, I'm saying we just don't know what they have on him, but I sure hope its more than that.

Oh does, anyone remember Richard Jewel? The GBI and the feds were involved in that one

I agree and I feel 100% sure K-Mart has Video Surveillance.
If RB was at K-Mart then this would have been verified by now and he would not be locked up. He is locked up.
